The next morning, Lilith awoke alone and unsure if what happened was indeed real. She sat up, staring at the corner of the room. Chills ran through her body as she remembered the figure from last night. Another thing to add to the growing list of unexplainable things. It was becoming tiresome to say the least. The dull midmorning light shone through the window near the small table, the sky threatening to snow again. With a pained groan Lilith got out of bed, not feeling quite rested. Walking to the table, she turned on some music and prepared herself for a better day. Ghuleh/Zombie Queen started playing, its slow melodic sound following her to the bathroom.  The bathroom was well stocked, and she found a plethora of toiletries. After a quick shower, she brushed her teeth, bobbing to the music. Every day not studying, instead living with tension and fear was added stress and she was more than ready to leave now. Determined to keep a light, cheerful attitude, she hummed with the music as she got ready. With a towel over her head, she walked into the bedroom naked and cold. As she entered the room she was greeted by a large black figure standing beside her bed, leaning on the foot board. She pulled the towel from her head, screaming. It was Air again, looking at her in confusion. She covered her nakedness and blushed brightly, her heart pounding from the sudden shock. He smiled, pleased with his timing.

"Hey! Don't you knock!" She yelled, angry that not only did he scare her, he also walked in on her naked. He simply shrugged. Lilith hung her head, realizing that common social graces were clearly overlooked with them. Lilith hoped this wouldn't be an ongoing issue, but she knew the answer already.

"Did you sleep okay?" he asked, standing up straight and closing the distance between them in two wide steps. He was over a foot taller than her, his shadow casting over her. Behind his silver mask, gentle grey blue eyes gazed down. He smelt warm, like spice and the black suit framed his body which executed his size. She had to tip her head back to meet his eyes.

"Well, it was weird." She wrapped the towel around herself, tucking the edge against her chest. "I had a dream of a figure." Lilith glanced behind the man before her to the now well-lit corner.

"Yes, I know. You already told me." He looked worried. The fact that she has having nightmares was not too concerning to him, but he did worry it might be something more ominous.

"Oh, right." So, it was real. "Well after you came in, I slept much better. Thank you for staying with me." She smiled, remembering his warmth and protection. He had been there so fast after her scream too. Granted he was in the next room over. She knew if she heard someone scream, it would have startled her too.

"It was the least I could do." He replied, placing his hand on her cheek. His eyes were warm and familiar, like an old friend. She reached up, touching his hand softly. His hand was soft, the warmth tingling her skin and causing her breath to stall.

"You didn't have to stay. I'm sure it wasn't the most comfortable sleep for you, so thank you." She smiled at him. "I should probably get dressed. Is there any way I could get some new clothing?" Air straightened himself, regaining his aloof demeanor.

"Yes, the draws should already be filled. I will see you downstairs." He motioned to the wardrobe behind him then paused, looking her up and down. Lilith watched as his eyes took her in, pausing over her full lips. Clearing his throat, he turned and left. She sighed, tired of the tension that she felt with them. It was a heat that built with every word, every chased glance or brief touch.

Trying to regain the energy from before, she walked to the wardrobe. Opening the doors and pulling open the top dresser drawer she saw an array of panties and bras. 'Who needs this many bras? There must be at least 15 in here' she huffed as she shuffled through them. Earths words repeated in her head as she looked through the options. I have the control she smiled and picked out a red lace push up with matching lace panties. They fit perfectly, holding her curves and contrasting against her fair skin. The closet was also stocked with dresses and blouses. She found a black, form fitting dress with a plunging neckline and keyhole back, her cleavage draped with black cotton. She matched the dress with back seam stockings and black heals. Maybe a little over dressed for a Monday morning, but she felt great in it. She did her makeup in a subtle manor, only having a few things in her purse, and pinned her hair up in a messy bun. Looking at herself one last time, she smiled. 'They played with me, now it's my turn.'
