ONCE I found out that Aaron was the man who I was supposed to be after, I had Karen track him down. I followed him all the way to a supermarket and followed him around discreetly while he shopped and went to his car.
Since we're in an empty car park, now is the time to strike.
He's putting the trunk door down on his car and I shoot a web at his hand, making it stick down to the trunk.
"Remember me?" I say, my voice sounding extremely deep from the Interrogation Mode. "You have the information I need so give it to me now."
"Alright, chill!" He says, holding his free hand out to me. "Wait...what happened to your voice?"
"What do you mean, what happened to my voice?"
"I heard you down at the bridge, I know what a girl sound like."
"I'm not a girl, I'm a boy! I mean-I'm a man." I insist.
"Look, I don't care what you are. Boy, girl-"
"I'm not a girl, I'm a man! Come on, who's selling these weapons? I need to know. Give me names, or else." I plead.
Aaron raises an eyebrow and slams the trunk shut with the hand that's stuck to it, making me jump.
"You ain't never done this before, huh?" Aaron chuckles.
"De-activate Interrogation mode." I say quietly and my voice goes back to normal. "Look man. These guys are selling weapons that are really dangerous, they can't just be out on the streets. If one of them could cut Delmar's store in half then-"
"You know Delmar's?"
"Yeah, the best sandwiches in Queens." I answer.
Aaron shrugs. "Sub Haven is pretty good."
"Eh," I wince. "Too much bread."
"I like bread."
"Come on man, please?" I switch the focus back to the weapons and when Aaron wouldn't talk, I just start to walk off.
"Stupid Interrogation mode." I mumble. "Karen, don't ever do that again."
"The other day you told those guys 'if you're going to shoot someone, shoot me'." Aaron says, making me look back and stop walking. "That's pretty ballsy. Look, I don't want those weapons in this neighbourhood either, I got a nephew that lives here."
