"This is it Big Man, you got this." Tommy says to pump himself up. He nods at Sam to pull the lever.

"Are you sure about this Tommy?"

"Saaaaammmm, I have armor, it'll be fiiinne." Tommy says with a chuckle. He may say that, but he is as nervous as Sam is. After the time he was beaten to death by Dream, visitors were allowed to wear armor to see him. He uses the breathing exercises Puffy taught him as the curtain of lava slowly lowers to unveil his greatest enemy. He can't see much from this distance except for the standing villain staring him down. He gulps.

Riding the platform across the lava that keeps Dream separate from the server, Tommy starts to hyperventilate. He clutches the discs he brought with him. 'It's fine Tommy, you are here to show him that YOU are better that HIM, that YOU have all the power now.' The thought calms him down, that's right, Dream can't hurt him now.

As the platform docks next to the cell, Tommy hops off and stares at the eerie smile mask that his opponent wears at all times, covering his expression. It was one of his goals on this visit, to take that mask with him. He likes to think that under that mask, Dream is absolutely terrified of what is going to happen.

He looks around the cell, It was oddly clean for a cell, the bloodstains from his death were gone and the water in the sink and toilet were both clear as can be.

"Hello Tommy. How are you?" Dream initiated the conversation. His voice now deep and somehow still smooth, without the raspiness of unused vocal chords.

"I'm doing great, no thanks to you you green bastard."

"Yes, I imagine Puffy has been helping you, yes?" Something was wrong, this isn't how dream usually spoke, was it? Tommy decided to shrug it off, it could just be that the time in prison has changed him. He nods, responding to both his inner thoughts and his conversation partner.

"You should be grateful to Sam, Tommy, he kept me sane just for this meeting."

"How di-"

"He's not an idiot Tommy, he knew that a confrontation was the best resolution to your trauma." How did he know what Tommy was going to ask.

This wasn't going well, he remembers what Puffy told him. "Don't let him take control of the flow of the conversation, you need to corner him with quick and vicious remarks showing that you are out of his control before taking the mask."

"So why are you here? No one wants to visit the 'Big Bad', or at least that's what I assume according to the lack of visitors. So I wonder what your goal is." He trails off, taunting Tommy with his tone.

"Listen Dre-" Dream interrupts before Tommy can start the sentence.

"I doubt Puffy would tell you to kill me, even to me, she is still too kind. So what are you after then, if killing me isn't an option, then the next best thing... ahh~." The way he drifted off his words was haunting, leaving Tommy's pupils shaking as Dream reached towards his mask. "So the mask then... that's alright, I won't be needing it anymore." He throws the mask to Tommy.

The mask landed in his outstretched hands, the smile facing towards him. Tommy holds the mask in both hands, shaking. He was starting to have flashbacks to when he died, beaten to death, looking at the same mask that was now in his hands. He looked from the mask up towards Dream's face, it was handsome, to say the least, his eyes were vertical slits, surrounded by a bright emerald green that fades off into blue. They would have looked stunning had they not been on such a horrible person. His mouth was thin, and his nose didn't intrude on his looks in the least. He had freckles dotting his face under his eyes.

Tommy had imagined there would have been scars, but there were none, he would have wondered why if he wasn't so terrified right now.

"So what do you think Tommy, are you over your trauma?" Tommy could feel his legs give out as he turns pale and starts hyperventilating. Dream smirks, but Tommy wasn't paying attention, already trapped in his mind. He also didn't notice when Dream's smirk disappeared from his face in a flash. "As expected..." he muttered.

Tommy was flashing back to everything this man in front of him had done to the people of the SMP. He could understand why Dream had not wanted L'manberg to separate from the Greater SMP, but the things he did to destroy it bordered on obsession. Why would he give up his friends for the destruction of L'manberg? Why would he break everyone apart, creating separation? Why would he torture him? Why? Why? WHY?

"Get up child, your ride is here." Dream helped Tommy up as he was awakening from his stupor.

"Why?" Tommy said it in such a low voice that even he couldn't hear himself.

"Hmm?" Dream cocked his head to the side. His expression blank.

"WHY." Tommy said, yelling this time.

"Be more specific child, why what?"

"WHY EVERYTHING? Why did you manipulate me? Why did you hurt everyone? Why didn't you just let us be?"

"And why should I answer you?" Dream said, raising his eyebrow.

"I think I have a right to know after you KILLED ME THREE TIMES!" Tommy had tears streaming out of his eyes now.

Dream seemed to think, looking away for a second. "I suppose that's fair."

He walked to the back of the cell, and opened the chest, taking out a few books before walking back and handing them to Tommy. "1,2,3,4,5." He said, pointing out which order the books should be read.

"Bye now Tommy~." He says, his voice fading.

Tommy was dumbfounded, he hadn't expected Dream to actually listen to him, he just wanted to vent his anger. However, now that he thinks further, is this Dream giving up. No one had actually known his reasons for his actions, and he had always kept secrets close to his chest, not letting anyone know what cards he had. But he just gave books that presumably keep the secret behind his actions, the reason he's done all this. Doesn't that mean Tommy won? Tommy started smiling as the flying machine took him away from the prisoner.
