The Visit

The nail slices cleanly through the skin of my arm, the red liquid dripping down the wound as I move it around and sigh in relief as my muddled mind becomes clear. I was pulling down the sleeve to cover the multitude of recent wounds when I heard the mechanism that signals the entrance of a visitor. 3, three slices. I think to myself as I turn around to await the visitor... visitors I suppose as I differentiate between three different presences on the other side of the lava. I wonder who they are. The nail retracts naturally.

I watched as the lava dripped down slowly and carefully, it is fascinating watching the liquid in motion, so many secrets that it seems to keep and none that it actually does. Maybe. Ah right, the visitors. Guess I'll wait. 

The lava can get annoying at times, because when it's dripping down you get so long to think about what is about to happen but don't get anything concrete. At least, that's how it is with me, I get in my head too much it is as much a curse as it is a blessing that allows me to plan ahead. Perhaps I should try to meditate... never mind, I can try that after the visit.

Once the lava finally dripped down enough to allow me to see my visitors I was a bit surprised, Technoblade was here, along with Tommy. I had expected Tommy to come, but not this soon, and not with Technoblade. Techno seems to have recovered from the physical strain of his stay in prison, good for him. I would have to talk to him to get more info on his mental state. Ah! I've got to get rid of that bad habit, or maybe not, I'm planning on dying soon, it's possible I might have to die during this visit, but Techno will always be on guard. Hmm...

"Hello Dream." Tommy says. Ahhhh... right... the visitors. Let's see what we have here  today.

"Hello Tommy." Still very interesting, how should I go about this. "Techno." I nod to him.

Tommy looks nervous but determined, interesting combination, I wonder why. Techno is stoic, but I can gauge from his reaction to a slight twitch in my hand that he is a bit concerned about me. How nice of him. I don't need it. I must've grazed a tendon when I got a bit excited during today's session. I'll handle it later.

I given enough of a pause for Tommy to continue now, why is he hesitating?

"We are here to take you out of prison." Oh, that's why. An obviously scripted line, Tommy always uses contractions unless he is babbling nonsense, if he were doing this line organically, he would have made a joke at the end to cover up his nervousness. Must've practiced a lot. I need more information though.

"May I ask why?" Tommy shook a bit after I asked that question, why? He must have a reason prepared as to why he is taking me out, I doubt whoever scripted this forgot about that. Speaking of, it was probably Techno who scripted it... interesting. Othe- ah... I forgot to act. Let's get my mask back on. I can't be too lax just because I'm near the end.

"The server decided to take you out temporarily until a trial is held, since there wasn't one when you were put in prison. Technoblade is advocating for you and will be your representative at the trial." Techno nodded with a solemn tone. I Knew he suspected something after he was stuck with me in the prison for three months, it was way too tiring to be able to act perfectly for that long. Glad to get an inkling I was right.

Tommy probably didn't read all the books either, stupid move. Why though? I'll find out soon enough. Also, that statement is a lie, he probably told that to the server to get them to let me out for a time. What is his intention in letting me out? He would never come to get me out if it wasn't his idea, and most server members wouldn't let him near me unless he insisted.
