Arjun's POV:

I cannot freaking believe the nerve of some people. How dare that girl spread rumors about me? I never cared what others thought of me earlier but this time it's not about me, it's about Samyra and I will not tolerate it.

I would have killed that girl had Samyra's injury been any worse. I didn't say anything to Samyra but now, I am determined to not give people any chance to spread any bullshit about me that might upset Samyra at any cost.

It's the next day now and I haven't slept really well last night thanks to some jerk. I am lying on my bed looking down at Samyra sleeping with her head over my shoulder and arm across my chest. The warmth of her body making me go crazy. I have come to realize that I like her, I like her too much. I remember being terrified when that girl threw herself on me. I just wanted Myra that time, I wanted her to comfort me and tell me that she knows I will never do anything like that to her. I remember her shocked face when we were in the library and I kissed her. When she responded, I was the happiest man alive. I can just hope she feels the same about me like I do for her.

A shrill noise fills the room and I turn my head to turn off my alarm before taking Samyra's phone and cancelling hers too. I stare down at her calm face and her pink cheeks. I lean down to place a kiss over her forehead knowing she won't wake up as she is a heavy sleeper. I remember the initial days of our marriage and how dysfunctional she would be in the morning. It would always be entertaining for me but I knew better than to comment and be at the receiving end of her wrath.

Another shrill noise fills the room and it's now I realize, I only cancelled one of her alarms. She literally has alarms every five minutes and they'll go on auto snooze but she won't get up. I decide to get her up or else we might be late for college.

"Myra..." I shake her lightly while calling her name. No movement... As expected.

"Myra, wake up."

"Wake up or we are gonna be late." My shaking becoming vigorous. I see her burnt hand making it's way towards me probably to push me away, but I hold it to keep her from hurting herself.

"Wifey, wake up now. See you were about to hurt your hand. Get up."

"Umm...2 minutes please."

"No, no two minutes. Get up now, you need to get ready."

"What's the time?"

"6:45"

"Ehh...I will wake up at 7 and still be able to get ready... Lemme sleep. What will I do getting up so early?"

"I can think of various things we can do if you wake up and surprisingly, they won't even require getting up from bed." I reply teasingly knowing she would scramble out of bed provided her sleepy head allows her to make sense of it.

"Lemme sleep. I am unable to solve these riddles of your in the damn morning."

"I was just talking about doing what we did in the library that day." I look at her face to see realization dawning over her face as she pulled the comforter over her.

"Oh you wanna do it inside the comforter, no pro-" I tighten my hold around her waist.

"Arjun, I am getting late, I think I should go and get ready."

"But you said you need to get up at 7, we still have 10 minutes."

"No, no I wanna pee leave me." She tries to pry my hands away from her waist and tries stepping out of the comforter and somehow stumbling reaches the bathroom.

I get up from my side and decide to take a shower and freshen up in the guest bathroom. By the time I come back, Maira has come out of her shower and is in front of the mirror getting ready, her wet hair sticking over her neck and frustrated she ties her hair in a loose bun over her head, exposing her wet neck.
