Samyra's POV:
"What do you wanna have?" Arjun asks me raising his eyes from the menu.
"Umm... I'll have whatever you are ordering."
"Okay." Arjun nods before looking back at the menu. Arjun and Yash Bhai place the order quickly before we get into the conversations.
"So, Arjun, how is the married life treating you? Also, I am hurt that you didn't bother telling me about this till now." Rhea says pouting a bit.
"I am sure Yash has told you about the circumstances and well, after he got to know, I would have told you but I was forced to keep my mouth shut by your boyfriend and my wife." Yash Bhai and I snicker loudly at Arjun's words.
"As if you listen to everything we say." I say.
"Exactly!" Yash Bhai exclaims.
"Hey! You cannot say like that, you know I always listen to you." Arjun says dramatically.
"Liar!" I say appalled.
"Well, I got the answer to my first question." Rhea says mockingly.
"What?" Arjun asks confused.
"That your situation is like that of every married man, terrible. Just agreeing to everything your wife says and becoming a henpecked husband." I can decipher the ridiculing tone behind the laughing words.
"Well, that's not the case. Arjun and I are very much equals in our relationship. He is not and will never be a henpecked husband. We believe a little fun banter is good in every relationship." I reply in a nonchalant tone because I don't think Yash Bhai will appreciate me punching her girlfriend.
"And even if I am, I don't mind. Afterall, I know Yash would need some lessons on how to be a henpecked husband if he marries you." Arjun says jokingly, sensing my mood. He keeps his hand over mine on the table discreetly.
"Aye!" Yash Bhai says hitting Arjun's shoulder, making us laugh. I turn around to see Rhea giving glances to Arjun and I just want to turn her face towards Yash Bhai.
Stop ogling at my husband, witch!
"Well, Samyra, how is Anmol?" I can feel Arjun stiffening up at his name.
"How is she supposed to know about him, she is no longer friends with him?" Arjun says firmly trying to maintain his temper.
"Oh, I am sorry, I didn't know that. I asked because I saw you talking to him and making eye contact in class. Even Anmol didn't tell me anything like that. So, I thought you guys made up, finally. Guess, I was wrong." Bloody witch! Why is she trying to do this, knowing well that it is nothing like that. I am gonna kill her.
I can feel Arjun's hand tightening over mine. I am too scared to even look into his eyes at this moment.
"Oh, so guys knew each other already?" Yash Bhai says cutting the awkwardness and silence around, unaware of the actual happenings on the table.
"Oh no, we just have seen each other around as we have few classes together, and we both know Anmol. Isn't that right Samyra?" Rhea says quickly.
How is she so good at this lying game!?
"Umm... Yeah." I am more concerned with sorting things out with Arjun than talking and setting this witch right.
"Arj-"
"So, Rhea, how was your day today?" Arjun asks cutting me off. He clearly doesn't wanna talk to me.
"Oh, it was going fine until you guys won, making it great. I am so happy for you." She says sweetly, making me wanna gag out loud.
