Samyra's POV:
It's finally time for me to go on the long awaited trip, much to my husband's displeasure. I know Arjun has reservations with my going on this trip but he needs to understand that I can handle myself.
This is the first time after marriage that we'll be away from one another but I want to go on this trip even if a part of me doesn't want to leave him for next three days. I look next to me to see my sleeping husband in his dreamland and decide to freshen up and get ready as I need to leave in an hour.
I pull out of Arjun's grip, actually I try to pull out of Arjun's grip but I am unable to as I struggle. I turn to face him and can see he is up and in his senses but still not letting me move.
"Arjun, leave me."
"I don't want to." He says pouting, making me wanna kiss him.
"Arjunnnnnnn."
"Sleep, Myra." He says patting my head like a child.
"I'll get late if you don't leave me now."
"That's the goal!" He says making me glare at him. I settle back in his arms making him open his earlier closed eyes and giving me a shocked and confused look.
"If you don't want me to go, I won't. It's alright, I don't wanna do anything which you are so damn against. Let it be." I say sadly. Arjun's reluctance is just making it impossible for me to leave and so, I will leave it this time.
"Myra, I was just joking, you can go. See, I have removed my hands now. Please don't be sad, it's just I haven't been away from you for such a long time and I'll miss you. Now get up and get ready, I will go and see if the breakfast is ready." Arjun says, leaving me with a peck on my cheek.
I immediately start with my morning routine and settle on wearing an olive green palazzo pants with black tucked in t-shirt. I wear bangles in one hand and apply vermilion on my hair parting before checking my bags one last time to make sure I am not missing anything.
I make my way downstairs to see Arjun waiting for me on the dining table with dad.
"So, all set dear?" Dad asks me.
"Yes, dad."
We then sit and start having our breakfast making some random small talks and soon it's time that I need to leave.
"Have a safe trip and come back soon. I will have to tolerate this idiot alone without you." Dad tells me making me laugh at Arjun's pouty face.
Arjun is supposed to drop me till college which I was initially totally against but then agreed knowing he would anyways do it. We settle in our car and start making our way towards the college.
"So?" He asks me.
"What?"
"Nothing. Are you excited?"
"I don't really know. I mean I was but then I started thinking what if it's not as much fun as I think it will be." I confess what is bothering me since morning.
"If that's so, you just give me a simple call and I will be there to get you back home." He speaks casually as if it's not a big deal.
"Really?!" I ask him shocked.
"Obviously!"
"Thank you."
"You don't need to thank me wifey. I anyways am gonna miss you for next three days so, if you call me to get you earlier, why not?" He says passing me a wink.
"You are an idiot."
"Hawwww... You again called me idiot."
"Idiot, idiot, idiot, idiot. What will you do now?" I say showing him my tongue. Arjun parks just outside the campus at my insistence and much to his reluctance and before I can get out, he holds my hand making him turn towards him.
