Samyra's POV:

I wake up earlier than anyone today which lemme tell you, was really difficult because I couldn't have put my alarms like I wanted to or else Arjun would have woken up. I had to put two alarms and keep my phone near my head, away from Arjun so that he doesn't wake up.

Once I am ready, I make my way towards the kitchen and whip up a good array of meal for our breakfast. I am almost done when I feel someone's presence behind me. Before I can turn around, I feel myself getting pulled into someone, and by someone, I obviously mean Arjun. He keeps his chin over my shoulder and peeks over what I was doing.

"I thought I was in charge of breakfast." He mumbles sleepily.

"You were, just not today." I tell him and turn my face a little to peck his cheek. He smiles lazily at me before placing a peck at my cheek too.

"And what's that for?" He enquires moving back slightly.

"You'll get to know that but first you need to go and get ready."

"I don't want to... It's anyways Sunday today." He says letting out a big yawn, making me laugh.

"Arjun, in next fifteen minutes, I need you to be ready and downstairs for breakfast." I say seriously. Arjun gives me a grumpy look before leaving to go and get ready, obviously not before saying one last line.

"You know, you are very bossy!"

"Why, thank you kind sire!" I say to him with a wink, making him stomp his feet before finally vanishing.

I do the final touches and carry everything out on the table and settle them before waiting for the men of the house to come to the table.

Few minutes in and I see Arjun making his way on the table. He pulls back his chair and sits down, before rubbing his hands and looking at the delicious food covering the table.

"You have prepared quite a feast today." He forwards his hand towards the cloche only to get it swatted by me.

"Let dad come." I tell him.

"But I am hungry."

"Don't be a child and let dad come. Actually, you better go and call him."

"Myra, I think we should let dad be today." I can sense the sadness in his voice but ignoring it, I get up from the table and move to dad's room. I knock at the door and wait for him to open it or call me inside.

Soon dad opens his door and his eyes are enough to show his tiredness. Today is the day that dad's age gets reflected on his face because usually dad's always smiling face can never let you see his real age.

"Breakfast is served."

"I don't wanna eat anything dear."

"You are coming and eating with your daughter today or even your son-in-law goes hungry all day. Your pick." I say giving him a wink, making him chuckle.

"Now, I can't have my son-in-law be hungry, can I?"

"Yes, you can. You cannot let your daughter be hungry, now can you?" I see him smiling a bit.

"No, I can't let that happen. Let's go." Dad keeps his hand on my head before we make our way towards the dining table.

Once, I have served everyone, I sit down to eat. I can see dad and Arjun being unusually quiet and that doesn't set well with me.

"Also, we are leaving by 11, so both of you be ready by then."

"Are we going somewhere?"

"Where are we going?"
