CHAPTER 5: Realization

It had been one week.

Although she was only getting weaker, Zizi did not eat.

It had been a week.

Zizi sat with her back against the headboard, head slightly turned, staring at the dreary curtains.

It had been a week.

Zizi was still kidnapped.

And although it had been a week, Zizi was now just realizing that vampires are real. Now, maybe even witches.
Being raised normally had an effect on her delay of realization. Her perception had been so blinded by her everyday reality, and so now she did believe in the supernatural. She was even starting to believe in what Vamin said; her family are witches.

She began to think of Vamin, her arms folded and hands balled tightly as she shook. Thinking of Vamin made her...ick. He was evil... and a vampire? She sighs before looking up.

Squinting at the clock positioned high on the wall across the room, she read the time. 8:45.

Silently counting the seconds, her full lips moved rhythmically.

Knock knock.

Just as she did day one, Zizi ignored the knock.

The Knocker entered the room unprohibited, as usual. The lanky maid would come in pushing a breakfast cart.

Rolling her eyes once the cart was stationed beside her bed, Zizi just turned back to the window. As usual, the maid sighed before leaving.

Seconds turned into minutes, Zizi was staring dazedly out the window.

Then, a sigh broke her trance. She rolled her eyes.

"You never come back twice. I'm not eating, leave me alone" she said calmly, still staring out the window. When she did not hear anything, she turned, ready to fuss the maid out.

Her eyes widened when she took in his bored expression.

She hadn't seen him in a week. A whole week. Although she'd rather've been at home,  she would be content with an explanation.

"You" she whispered, her voice soft with surprise, her eyes wide almost in wonder.

Then she frowned, "you" Zizi growled with much venom.

Vamin raised a thick brow, shrugging. Zizi wondered if that was his character, one of disconnectedness, aloof and emotionless.

She gave him a deadpanned stare, then her eyes traveled all over his face, then his body. Thick bushy eyebrows, he had. Two toned pouty lips, his top a mix of pink and brown. A thin mustache above his top lip. A number one hair cut.

She glared at his body, as he stood with his tight v-neck shirt, and chinos.

"Why am I still here?" She questioned calmly. Vamin only gave her a look of boredom.

Marching up to him, she pointed a finger in his chest, her nail digging into the skin.

"Let me the fuck go" feeling angry, she reached her hand back to slap him, but was stopped by the wind.

Whoosh.

She was now across the room with her back against the wall, Vamin holding her one arm tightly, the other on her neck. He glared right back at her.

Despite her increasing fear, Zizi would not allow herself to be bitched by some delusional devil.

"Say that again?" He dared with dark eyes, no, black eyes. His whole eyes were black. Her eyes traveled to his lips, she could see fangs peeking.

She hid behind a wall, that small part of her scared. And when she was got rid of her jitters, behind that wall came a brand new woman.

She growled out with much venom, "LET ME THE FUCK GO" spit flew in his face.

She didn't have much time register his fast movements.

CRACK

She screamed out in pain, wanting to hold her aching wrist which was twisted oddly, Vamin held both of her wrists above her head tightly.

With the speed of lightning, she was thrown onto her bed.

The woman was now scared, she ran and hid behind the wall with the girl. Both parts of herself were now hopeless.

Vamin stood above her with a sick look in his eyes, his face all screwed up.

Zizi could hear her heart pound in her ears, louder than the waves of the ocean.

"Ple—"

Smack!

Her head whipped to the side abruptly. Just as quickly, he grabbed by her shirt, jacking her up.

"You'll have breakfast in here. Tomorrow it'll be with me, and you will eat".

Then, in his vampire fashion, he sped from the room. Leaving behind a frightening and broken wrist, Zizi.
