CHAPTER 7: The Past
The yellow-eye'd demons were insane. They'd suck your blood, and eat your flesh. They lacked control and had no loyalty, served no king, and tended no master.

They rarely ran in groups, the savages would betray its own kind. Worst of all, their favorite meal were witches.

The Ruperts would not let them run rampant. And since all fault of  creation of the abominable species was credited to the Ruperts them, and the Kingdom. It was their duty to liberate witches from the evil that is, Yellow-eyed demons.

Essie stared at the baby cradled in arms. She rocked her gently. The baby's brown eyes glowed with curiosity. Her cheeks flushed from crying. Still, she gave hushed whines and groans. Essie smiled, her baby was falling asleep.

Tiredly, she walked over to her crib and gently placed the sleepy baby down, patting her back as she sat her down. Her eyes drooped and secondly, she was asleep.

Quickly Essie made her way out of  the nursery. In a haste she made her way to her husband's study.

"Franklin!" She called, her soft voice reverberating around the halls. Close to his study, she could see the door cracked open.

Peeking her head in, she smiled innocently. Her eyes closed as she smiled brightly.

"My dear husband, time to—" she gasped at the sight before her. Her  husband sitting at his desk headless.

Varma, standing with his head. A smirk graced her features, her bloody fangs were on display.

Eyes widened in terror,
Essie could not help but to scream.
