CHAPTER 1 - Local

Few goons were hitting some local people.

- "I TOLD YOU TO GIVE ME YOUR MONEY !! YOU MORORN !!"

He was about hit the man again. But an arrow was shot in his heart. He fell on the ground. The other goons got scared and started looking around with their swords raised. But then in seconds three arrows were shot through their heart and they fell on the ground.

Now all the captured people, who had their head down looked up.

- "Who saved us?"

Then a girl jumped on the ground from the tree.

- "Don't worry you are safe now."

- Rajkumari aparajita ?

People stood up and joined their hands with a greatful smile, Rajkumari aparajita smiled back at them.

- "You saved us, thank you!"

Aparajita :- "It's my duty to protect my people and I'll not spare anyone who tries to hurt them."

And the next second the Royal soldiers came rushing, they first bowed down to aparajita.

Aparajita :- "Help these people. Make sure they are safely returned to their home."

- "Yes rajkumari."

Aparajita's horse chiraag came running from the woods. She smiled at him and patted his back. She once again smiled at her people then sat on chiraag and took off towards her palace.

Aparajita was wearing her jewellery in her room, when the a maid came and gave aparajita a letter.

Aparajita smiled at the maid and took the letter from her hands, knowing who was it from she immediately opened the letter.

The letter was from rajkumar ranjit, the man she gave her heart to, as she started reading her face lit up with happiness.

- Rajkumari Aparajita, I miss you alot do you miss me ?

Aparajita :- "Of course rajkumar I miss you alot!"

- But the wait is going to be over Soon, I'm coming to santok.
Yours Rajkumar Ranjit.

Aparajita couldn't stop blushing feeling too happy she started dancing.

Aparajita :- "I can't wait for you Rajkumar ranjit."

Aparajita loved ranjit alot. She never thought about anyone else She only wanted to marry him.

Aparajita :- "Rajkumar ranjit this time when you'll come I'll ask you to marry me. I want to be yours"

Aparajita blushed.

- Maharaj Pratap ...

A man with a heavy beard spoke to the man on his left, who was wearing a heavy mustache and had huge scarf around his neck.

King pratap :- "Don't call me maharaj, Sourabh."

Sourabh :- "Forgive me. Please tell me why are we disguised as a local?"

Pratap :- "So we can get to know my people and their problems."

Sourabh :- But you could have asked anyone, anyone could have done that.

Pratap :- "I know if I had asked anyone they would have done it but people would have been hesitant to tell a royal person about their problems. But they won't be hesitant to tell their problems to a person who is just like them. That's why we are disguised as a local."

Sourabh :- "Wow maharaj you are amazing."

pratap :- Sourabh!

Pratap raised his eyebrows at sourabh who kept his finger on his lip.

Sourabh :- "Forgive me."

Sourabh and pratap laughed and continued walking. After walking few steps they stopped when they heard some people talking.

- "Why maharaj is taking extra tax?! already we don't have enough money and now this!"

- "Exactly!"

Pratap and sourabh looked at each other confused they decided to approach the people and ask them what's wrong.

Pratap :- "What are you talking about?"

Sourabh :- "Maharaj is not taking any extra tax."

- "I think you are new in this town."

- "Maharaj is taking extra tax from us from a month!

A man in his 40's spoke out of the group of people.

Pratap :- "What?!"

- "Yes! Rajkumar ranjit announced that we have to give extra tax."

- "We don't have enough money for us and maharaj wants extra tax! why maharaj is doing this to us ?!

A old man spoke who had frustrated look on his face. Pratap clenched his fist in anger, He strommed off towards the palace. Sourabh followed after him.

As soon as pratap reached the palace he called for a urgent  meeting.

Rajkumar ranjit :- "Maharaj why did you call all of us here?

Ranjit asked making pratap even more furious.

Pratap :- "Did you recently made any announcement saying that, people have to give extra tax?"

Rajkumar ranjit was shocked. His face instantly became pale.

Rajkumar ranjit :- "Actually ....

Pratap :- "YES OR NO ?!!!"

Rajkumar ranjit :- "Yes."

Pratap :- "RAJKUMAR RANJIT YOU KNOW I HATE WHEN MY PEOPLE SUFFER !!"

Rajkumar ranjit :- "Forgive me maharaj."

Pratap :- YOU WILL BE PUNISHED RAJKUMAR ! You will pay the people back their money and for a month you won't be able to spend any money!!

Rajkumar ranjit :- But your Majesty...

Pratap :- My decision is final ! And I never change my decision.

Pratap stromed off everyone stood up as they looked at rajkumar ranjit who was fuming in rage.
