CHAPTER 4 - Love at first sight ?

After a week of traveling Pratap arrived in santok. Maharaj amar did a grand welcome of pratap , rajmata and ranjit.

Amar :- "Maharaj pratap I'm honoured to welcome you in santok."

Pratap :-" maharaj amar I'm the one who is honoured to come here. "

Rajmata :- "Yes pratap is right. We are so grateful for your grand welcome."

Akshara :-" I'm really happy that you choose my daughter."

Rajmata :- "Aparajita is a great girl. I'm really looking forward to meet her."

Maharaj amar made pratap sit on the elephant. And they went to the palace.
On the way people were cheering for them and were throwing rose petals.

All this while Ranjit was annoyed he was not enjoying. He was hating the fact that pratap got all the attention.

They reached the palace. Aparajita was in her balcony. She couldn't take her eyes off ranjit. She was really happy to see him after such a long time.

Aparajita :-" I can't wait to meet you rajkumar."

Pratap looked up to see a girl standing in a balcony and she was none other than aparajita. He couldn't take his eyes off her. She looked more beautiful in person. Aparajita too looked at pratap.
She felt a Strong connection to him. They had a long eye contact. But then aparajita broke the eye contact.

Aparajita :- "I can't look at him. I love rajkumar ranjit. "

Aparajita sat on her bed she kept thinking about her moment with pratap. She couldn't shake off the feeling.

Pratap was in his room which maharaj amar gave to him. He was thinking about his moment with aparajita. He too felt a strong connection to her.

Pratap :- "I'm looking forward to meet you Rajkumari aparajita."

Pratap blushed.

He then decided to explore the palace. The whole palace was beautiful. He was looking at the painting on the wall.
It was a painting of maharaj amar with his wife akshara and Aparajita. He turned to go but then he suddenly bumped into someone. The person was about to fall down but pratap quickly grabbed their hand.

The person was none other than aparajita. They both were looking into each other's eyes. They couldn't take their eyes off each other. They again felt the same attraction and same connection. They had a long eye contact.

But then Pratap broke the eye contact.

Aparajita :- "please Forgive me maharaj pratap. "

Pratap :-" I should apologise. forgive me Rajkumari aparajita. "

There was silence between them. But then aparajita broke the silence.

Aparajita :- "Maharaj you here ? Do you need something ?"

Pratap :-" I was just exploring the palace. It's so beautiful. "

Aparajita smiled.

Aparajita :- "Isn't it ? The whole palace is so beautiful. My Father and my mother designed the palace. They made sure everything was beautiful. the Workers were specially here to make the palace from Nandigram. And...".

Aparajita stopped talking. She looked at pratap he had this amused smile.
She looked down. She unknowingly blushed.

Aparajita :- "Forgive me maharaj was I talking to much ? "

Pratap chuckled.

Pratap :- "No Rajkumari I was just amused they way you were talking about your palace with so much love it was really amazing. And everyone speaks to me in fear but you are the first one apart from my mother and my friend sourabh who treated me like a ordinary person. Thank you rajkumari."

Aparajita chuckled.

Aparajita :- "I'm familiar with this feeling. It really feels odd. "

Pratap :-" Exactly."

Aparajita :- "Maharaj I'll show you around the palace if you don't mind..".

Pratap :-" No not at all. I'll be really happy."

They smiled at each other
