CHAPTER 11 - Welcome

Aparajita and pratap reached the palace. Rajmata was standing at the door with some other ladies. A kalash filled with rice was kept at the door. A plate filled with alta was kept in front of the kalash and in front of it was a cloth.

Rajmata :- "Aparajita Now push this kalash with your right foot. And come inside and then keep your feet in this alta and put your feet onto this cloth."

Aparajita nodded. She pushed the kalash gently and walked inside. she kept her feet in the alta and walked inside leaving behind auspicious footprints which are the symbol of maa Lakshmi. Aparajita and pratap then took the darshan of maa durga. And then they went to take blessings of the ancestors.

Now it was time for the mooh dikhayi ceremony. The ladies of avanti and Queens of all the kingdoms came to give their blessings to pratap and aparajita.

-"Rajmata your bahu is really beautiful!
Maharaj pratap is really lucky!Always Stay happy! "

Aparajita blushed at this. The lady gave her blessings to aparajita and Left. Then the next lady came and gave her blessings to aparajita!

- "We want a little one soon!"

Aparajita got really awkward. She didn't know what to say so she just nodded.
One by one the ladies came and gave their gifts to aparajita and gave her blessings and Left.

After the mooh dikhayi ceremony. They arranged a feast for the whole kingdom. Everyone gave their blessings to pratap and aparajita. All the time someone came to talk to them. Pratap always spoke to them politely. And aparajita really admired pratap for this.

Ranjit was watching everything from his room.

Ranjit :-" I can't believe this !! She was head over hills in love with me and look at her she busy admiring my brother!! You will regret this aparajita!! You will regret rejecting me !! You will regret choosing my brother!! You will beg me to help you!! YOU WILL BEG ME!!!"

Ranjit slammed his balcony door shut.

After all the ceremony and celebration. Finally aparajita was in her new room. Her and pratap's room.

She was taking off her jewellery. But the knot was stuck. She was having difficulty to take it off.

Aparajita :- "God please !!"

Pratap came into the room he saw aparajita struggling to take off the jewellery.

Pratap :- "Can I help ?"

Aparajita turned to see pratap. She blushed.

Aparajita :- "Yes please it's stuck.".

Pratap carefully took off the jewellery. Aparajita looked at pratap through the mirror. He looked really handsome. Unknowingly she blushed.

Pratap :- "it's done."

Aparajita snapped back from her dream world.

Aparajita :- "Thank you!"

Pratap smiled at her. Aparajita then went to change. She wore a simple saree. She was just wearing her mangalsutra. She came out from the bathroom. Pratap looked at aparajita. She really looked beautiful even in this simple look. He couldn't take his eyes off her. Aparajita too looked at pratap. Even she couldn't take her eyes off him. Pratap started approaching her. She closed her eyes.

Pratap :- "You look beautiful!"

Aparajita opened her eyes and looked at pratap.

Aparajita :- "Thank you!"

Pratap :- "Aparajita don't worry I'm not going to touch you until you settle in this family. Not until you are ready."

Pratap smiled at aparajita. Aparajita looked at pratap with admiration.

Aparajita :- "Thank you pratap ji! You really are a good person. I really admire you."

Pratap blushed.

Pratap :- "Aparajita You are a good person too. I admire you too."

Pratap smiled at her and he then went to change. Aparajita had this bright smile on her face.
