CHAPTER 2 - Rishta

Pratap was really angry at Ranjit. How could he do this to their people .
But was he too harsh on his little brother today ?
He was deep in his thought.

- "Pratap ."

Pratap turned to see his mother Rajmata suhasini.

Suhasini :- "you must be thinking if you did the right thing by punishing Rajkumar Ranjit, right ?"

Pratap :- "Yes maa was I too harsh ?"

Suhasini :- "Son you did the right thing. Don't doubt yourself even for a second. Rajkumar ranjit deserved the punishment."

Suhasini kept a hand on pratap's cheeks and she smiled warmly at him.

Pratap smiled. He touched her feet.

Suhasini :- "May all your wishes come true. Pratap I want to talk to you about something. "

Pratap :- "What is it maa ?"

Suhasini :-" I was looking for a suitable partner for you. And I found one. If you liked her and if she liked you then we will fix your alliance. "

Pratap :- "Maa I trust you. Your choice is my choice. "

Suhasini Smiled.

Suhasini :-" She is the Rajkumari of santok her name is Aparajita. She is really beautiful and she is also really talented. And just like you she is a good person. Which is most important. "

Suhasini clapped her hands. A maid brought a painting of aparajita. She gave it to suhasini. Suhasini showed the picture to pratap.

After few days King of santok maharaja Amar received a letter from the rajmata of Avanti. He opened the letter and read it. He was more than happy. He called his wife. She quickly came.

He gave the letter to her. She read the letter and she too was really happy.

Amar :- "Yes thank you so much Ganesh ji for your blessing. we will do a mahapuja of ganesh ji And aparajita will do the puja but first we need to tell this to her!! "

Akshara :- "Yes I'll talk to her. She too will be happy. God they are coming next week. "

Amar :- "yes we need to prepare everything !! I'm so happy ! Our aparajita is so lucky that maharaj pratap wants to marry her !! "

Aparajita was lieing on her bed. She was reading Rajkumar ranjit's letter and she was blushing hard. She remembered the time when they first met in her Sister mohena's marriage. She first thought he was a bad person because she saw him flirting with a rajkumari but later he cleared her misunderstanding.

Ranjit :- "Actually the rajkumari was interested in my wealth and I was politely rejecting her. But you misunderstood me. "

Aparajita :- " Really ?"

Ranjit :-" Yes I don't want someone who is interested in my wealth but I want someone who will love me. "

He smiled at aparajita. She blushed.

After her sisters marriage he sent her a letter. And she sent a letter back and thats how their love story started.

- "Maharani Akshara padhar rahi hai !"

Aparajita was brought back from her dreamworld because of this announcement. She quickly got up.
Her mother arrived. Aparajita touched her feet.

Akshara :- "May you get everything you deserve."

Aparajita smiled.

Akshara :- "Aparajita I want to tell you something. Avanti's rajmata suhasini sent a marriage proposal for you !"

Aparajita blushed.

She thought , "Rajkumar ranjit talked to his mother about us that's why he sent the letter saying he is coming to santok. Finally my wish will be fulfilled !"

Akshara :-" And your marriage is fixed with..."

Aparajita :-" I know maa who is he and I'm ready for the marriage. I want to marry him."

Akshara smiled brightly at her daughter.

Akshara :- "I'm really happy. I'll tell your father about this. "

Akshara left. Aparajita blushed and she spun around the room.

Aparajita :-" I love you Rajkumar Ranjit !"
