CHAPTER 13 - Arya

Next day pratap and aparajita did a puja of lord vishnu it's called the satyanarayan puja.

Rajmata :- "We do this puja so that lord vishnu will bless the newly married couple with happy and prosperous married life. Now pratap and aparajita.
give the prashad to the people when they come to take blessings."

Aparajita :- "Ok rajmata."

Rajmata:- "Call me maa aparajita."

Aparajita smiled
Aparajita :- "Ok maa. "

Rajmata smiled back. Pratap and aparajita were giving prashad to the people. Just then aparajita heard a woman calling her husband arya.
She really liked it so she decided to ask pratap if she could call him that.

Aparajita :- "Ji can I call you arya?"

Pratap smiled at her.
Pratap :- "Yes you can. "

Aparajita :-" Actually I heard one of the ladies calling her husband arya so I really liked it so I wanted to ask you if I could. "

Pratap :-" Aparajita you don't have to take permission from me for everything you have the right to take decision for yourself and no one can take that away from you!"

Aparajita smiled at him. She was falling for him day by day.

Aparajita :-"Thank you arya! "

Pratap :- "thank you for what? "

Aparajita :- "For understanding me, for caring for me, for treating me with so much respect! You know no one ever treated me with this much respect."

Aparajita had tears in her eyes.

Pratap :- "You deserve the respect aparajita! "

Pratap smiled at aparajita. Aparajita smiled back.

After the puja aparajita was exploring the palace. She then found one room. All the weapons were there. Sword, bow and arrow, javelin and many other.
Aparajita took the bow and arrow. She placed the point of an arrow on the arrow rest and then she attached the back of the arrow to the bow string. She pointed it towards the target. She successful shot the arrow in the center of the target.

She smiled proudly. She was about to put the bow and arrow back but she heard clapping she looked at the door to see pratap. He had a proud smile on his face.

Pratap :- "Wow amazing Aparajita! "

Aparajita :- "Thank you Arya!"

Pratap:- "You are a skilled Archer!"

Aparajita :-" Arya it's nothing I just.."

Pratap :-" Aparajita only a skilled Archer can shoot that shot. Where did you learned archery? "

Aparajita :-" Actually my father taught me! He is a skilled Archer himself."

Pratap :-" Amazing! "

Aparajita :- "Arya but I want to learn sword.. can you teach me ? Actually maa told me you are a excellent swordsman! "

Pratap blushed.

Pratap :- "of course aparajita I'll teach you! Should we start now ? "

Aparajita :- "Yes ! "

Pratap :- "Then let's start!"

Pratap then gave a sword to aparajita. But the sword was too heavy for her . She was having difficulty to lift it. So pratap helped her. He stood behind her and he helped her lift the sword. He was telling her about the position. But aparajita couldn't concentrate. She was blushing hard at his touch. She couldn't help but look at him while he was explaining. He looked really handsome.

Pratap :- "So did you understand aparajita? "

Pratap looked at aparajita but she was already looking at him with a smile. pratap blushed. They couldn't help but look into each other's eyes. Pratap started to lean in. aparajita too closed her eyes and leaned in but they were interrupted by a loud noise of something falling. They looked ahead to see ranjit he was lifting up the fallen jeveline.

Ranjit :- "I'm so sorry I didn't Know how this jeveline fell. I was just leaving. Sorry."

Pratap and aparajita quickly stopped at a short distance from each other.

Pratap :- "It's ok ranjit. "

Aparajita glared at ranjit. She knew he intensionally did it. He smirked at her.

Aparajita :- "Arya I'm going to our room."

Pratap :- "ok. "

Aparajita walked away.

Ranjit :- "You two seem happy with each other bhai."

Pratap found his attitude weird but he just shrugged it off. Because we are talking about ranjit here. Everything is weird about him.

Pratap just smiled at him and he left.
Ranjit angrily threw the javelin away.
