Chapter 32

It was the day of the operation and Taehyun haven't left Beomgyu's side the moment he arrived. He stayed with him morning 'til dark. Beomgyu's parents even requested for another bed because the boy won't budge even if it's Beomgyu asking.

The operation will happen after lunch and it was already ten in the morning. They were watching a movie together with Beomgyu's parents, none of them was feeling great but none of them showed as well.

They smiled at Beomgyu despite how heavy they felt. Beomgyu's mother would always slipped tears but she was able to hide from his son. Beomgyu's father never came to work, Jennie was always there listening at Beomgyu's constant rant about wanting to go home, the members were there to cheer him up with the smallest things, his son had been extra clingy to which didn't even surprise him anymore and Taehyun, Oh Taehyun has always been Beomgyu's strength.

The guy would cuddle and sing him to sleep, the guy would always watch cliché romantic movies with him, the guy would always hold his hand, kiss him, embrace him, whisper I love you's randomly, confesses to him everyday and Beomgyu had never felt so love his entire life.

He was scared, who wouldn't but seeing the number of people who gave up a their time just to spend with him was enough for him to always woke up with hope and smile.

"It's almost eleven." Beomgyu announced and everyone in the room looked at him.

He scanned everyone's upset and worried faces. What surprised everyone was the giggles that escaped Beomgyu's mouth as if he was more of excited than nervous.

"Aye, why do you look at me like that?" He pouted causing almost everyone to look away and gave out a heavy sigh.

"Dada, hunie?" His son then broke the silence causing Beomgyu to glance at him surprised.

"Omayghad, what is that baby!?" He reached out and squished the baby's cheeks.

"Hunie." Hyunie exclaimed again and Beomgyu was close to passing out from his son's cuteness.

It was his first time hearing Hyunie called himself. It isn't that clear but it was enough for him to be more excited, to finish this quickly.

"Tyunie, you heard that? Soobin hyung, you heard that!?" He asked happily and everyone started skipping to his side and Hyunie smirked like he was some kind of an attention seeker and successfully hypnotized everyone.

"Our Hyunie is growing so fast!" Yeonjun cooed tickling the little boy who scooted closer to his dad.

"It's so fast. I mean, it was almost like yesterday that Beomgyu was ranting about how Hyunie forces him to eat tomatoes." Kai added wiggling his eyebrows and Beomgyu's face contoured disgust.

"Please don't make me remember that troubling experience." He said rolling his eyeballs causing everyone to laugh.

"Beomie, please be strong. Okay?" Her mom then suddenly asked. Beomgyu looked at him worriedly.

He was worried about everyone else here than himself. He can't imagine how devastated would they feel if suddenly, things go out of hands. He can't imagine them having that longing emotion which would never be lifted unless he came back and even if he was scared, he can get through it. He will get through this, for them.

"Mom, come on. Don't be too sad. You know a kid like me don't give up easily." He assured gesturing her for a hug.

"I know, I know. I'm just really scared right now. I don't know what I'll do without you." She replied and was now in tears.

Beomgyu can't blame his mother. Every parent would feel the same. He hugged her tighter and comforted him. Everyone did the same, it was his request to give him a hug and Taehyun just stood beside him, waiting.
