"Pd-nim, I beg your pardon? Did I hear that right?" Taehyun asked confused and anxious at the same time.

"You see, I received the email this morning. It was actually sudden as well. I mean I didn't expect it as well." The CEO explained, he was loving the whole situation even though he knows that Taehyun would probably throw a fit after knowing that they were only playing with him.

"I-I don't understand. Why would Beomgyu's parents do that when t-they know that their son is with me?" Taehyun asked dumbly to their boss.

"To be honest, I'm also confused but I don't really know what's their reason as well." He replied and then faced his laptop to type something.

"Can I see the contract, Pd-nim?" Taehyun asked hopeful but the CEO just looked at him with a smirk before glancing back to his laptop.

"I'm sorry it's quite confidential and you had already decided." He was trying not to burst into laughter when he sees how Taehyun tried not to look pissed.

"Okay n-nevermind, I can just call them myself." He exclaimed, fishing out his phone inside his pockets.

"I don't think that's a good idea though." The CEO once again said stopping Taehyun.

The rest of the members where back comfortably at the sofa along with their manager who managed to stay quiet the whole conversation.

"What do you mean?" Taehyun asked, this time he sounded really pissed which made the CEO chuckled.

"That's very unprofessional of you young man. What would you reason out why you declined and then take back?" He asked and Taehyun was left thinking at that. He was gripping his phone hard enough for it to crashed but of course that's sounded very over. Taehyun just feel conflicted.

"B-but... I think there must have been some misunderstanding. They have already agreed when I asked for their blessing to have me on bended knees so I—It doesn't make senses at all." Taehyun blurted out causing everyone to gasped at the sudden confession.

"Y-you're planning on proposing?" Their manager asked trying to let the information sinked in.

"Of course. I've always wanted to make Beomgyu a Kang and his parents had already agreed." He replied sounding like he was offended by the question.

"Are you serious, Taehyun? You know that's a very big decision." Bang Si-Hyuk asked in a serious matter. He didn't expect this at all.

"Hell, I am Pd-nim." He replied forgetting that he was facing the CEO.

"Language, young man." He said firmly causing Taehyun to look away embarrassed.

"Sorry." He apologized and there was silence that lasts for about a minute.

"Besides, talking to his parents won't actually help you." The CEO then broke the silence. He started feeling excited because he was ready to drop the bomb.

"What?" Taehyun asked now very confused as to what the hell is happening.

He thought that everything was already settled. He thought he'd only wait for his Beomgyu to wake up and then he'll act immediately but this... came along.

It was starting to stress him added to the fact that he really misses Beomgyu and his son a lot. What did I even do wrong? Taehyun asked himself, his lips trembling because he is afraid.

"Beomgyu's parents had nothing to do with this Taehyun because..." The CEO paused and Taehyun looked at him impatiently.

"It was Beomgyu himself who made the contract." Taehyun's eyes widen along with his jaw dropping.
