Beomgyu woke up once again with the memories of him being surrounded by nurses, his parents crying in the corner and with Hyunie staring at him.

He took a deep breathe, wincing from the pain in his chest as he slowly adjusted from the room's light. He shifted and saw that there was a man sleeping next to him with his hands grasping his.

His brows furrowed when he discovers it's his Taehyun. Despite being confused, he stared at the sleeping man for about a minute before deciding to finally touched him but the hold was to tight that he knows he will surely woke the man and no, Beomgyu doesn't want to wake up Taehyun especially when he looked very peaceful.

He then decided to use his other hand. He slowly adjusted his position almost sitting up and then reached for Taehyun's soft hair. He was with the guy about a day ago, he's not sure though but it felt like he hadn't seen Taehyun for so long.

He was gently feeling the guy's hair when Taehyun shifted a little. He felt that someone was touching him. It was warm and there he knew that it was his Beomgyu.

He opened his eyes and it revealed a smiling Beomgyu. It was the smile that captured him. It was the smile that his Beomgyu always shows.

"Hey." Beomgyu broke the silence. His voice was almost like whisper but Taehyun loved it. He was finally seeing and hearing Beomgyu.

"Love, you're awake." He declared relieved. He gave Beomgyu the warmest touch in the face before biting his lower lip as he controlled the different emotions starting to drawn him.

"Why are you here?" Beomgyu asked. He was surprised at the same time amused.

"Why wouldn't I be? You're here." Taehyun replied still not breaking their eye contact. Hell, if only he couldn't blink. He'll do it, afraid the Beomgyu might disappear in the blink of an eye.

"Did you cried?" Beomgyu asked gently. This time, it was him who tried to reach for Taehyun's face and the guy leaned onto it, closing his eyes as if he hadn't feel Beomgyu for a long time.

"So much. You made me cry. You had me worried." Taehyun honestly answered and Beomgyu bit his lower lip feeling sorry that he made Taehyun upset and worried.

"I'm sorry." And Taehyun opened his eyes to meet Beomgyu's gaze. Beomgyu continued to which Taehyun had to pin point why Beomgyu was apologizing. Why was he always feeling sorry when it's not his fault that his life was like this.

"No. Why are you apologizing again? I don't know if I'm gonna offended or what at that because it sounded like you are doubting my love." He replied causing Beomgyu to shook his head and pouted.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Taehyun's voice was calm, far from what's inside of him.

"I was about to." Beomgyu then apologetically replied, looking down on to his had that was connected with Taehyun like it had glue.

"What stopped you then?" Taehyun made sure that Beomgyu isn't feeling any sorry for not telling him sooner but it seems like Beomgyu looked like he was actually guilty and Taehyun didn't like all of it.

"Because I don't wanna ruin our moment. Everything—Every time I'm with you it's always happy. It's always gonna be a good time and I didn't wanna ruin it. You aren't always here with me and... so, I figured out maybe it wasn't the right timing but I planned to tell you sooner. Believe me, I really want to tell you Taehyun-ah. It's just that I didn't know about what's gonna happen." He replied. Beomgyu's voice broke Taehyun's heart again. He was sorry and Taehyun wanted to cry at how Beomgyu cherishes their time together. Even if it were short, it wasn't important for Beomgyu at all. As long as he's with him.
