Chapter 8

The group just finished filming the dance practice of their latest song. Their heavy breathing is the only thing you can hear in the room followed by the sound of their dance mentor that says they did a good job.

"I was kinda off the beat." Taehyun confessed when they are now facing the small screen for monitoring.

"It isn't that obvious and it you seemed to followed back on the rest of the song." His dance instructor replied.

"This is fine already. You can now take a rest." The last thing he said before exiting the room.

Taehyun and his group just had their comeback after a month of rest. The fans wasn't expecting it but then Taehyun and Huening Kai made a mistake of telling it to their fans on one of their social media platforms. It was chaotic, the fans went wild after knowing that they will be having a comeback right after a month they released their latest album.

It was very tiring on their part because they have to do both the promotions and the preparation at the same time but they were able to pull it off.

Now, today is the last day of their promotion and they haven't had any idea yet when is the next comeback but they sure didn't want to rush it yet and want to take a rest. The fans were also understanding enough to make a petition themselves to the management to let the boys rest.

They were currently getting ready to eat some snacks at the artist lounge when their manager barged in followed by some staffs carrying some boxes. The boys eyed it with curiosity.

"Hey guys. I brought you something." He said gesturing the two male to put the box on the ground.

"What's that hyung?" Kai asked as he run to where the box is located.

"Oh, it was a gift from Beomgyu. It arrived probably a month ago but because we were so busy I forgot to give it to you." He replied scratching the back of his neck.

"That clearly says your already old hyung. Wait... this is the box I carried to your room right?" Taehyun asked when he remembered carrying it.

"You did!?" His manager asked once again, brows furrowed as he try to recall if that happened.

"Yes I did, it was that time when I saw you all giggly while watching something on your phone." Taehyun replied followed by a 'tsk' that made Youngjae's mouth 'oh' because that was when he found out that Beomgyu was already pregnant.

"Oh yeah, I remember it now!" He replied clapping followed by a hand pointing at Taehyun.

"So this is from Beomgyu boy? Can we open it hyung?" Yeonjun asked excitedly as he traced his fingertips on the box trying to feel what's inside.

"That's yours— oh well, technically the other on is to Taehyun but I'm not sure which one is it." He replied and everyone's eyes glistered from the excitement despite being exhausted.

Their agency rarely accepts gifts from the fans. So that explains why they'd always get excited when they received something from them.

"It's a painting by the way. He painted it himself." Youngjae added causing everyone to widen their eyes as Soobin run off to get some scissors to open if because it was hardly sealed.

"Really!? He paint?" Kai asked amazed.

"Yeah, well he's an artist. He says he paint for people. I haven't seen any of his work though." He replied chuckling and decided to help Soobin and Yeonjun who was already focused on opening it while Taehyun and Kai just stood their fidgeting.

When they have successfully opened it, they all shared the same reaction. Gasped, in awe.

The painting was very much a definition of perfection. It was a twenty-four inches painting, one with Taehyun and other one with the four of them.
