Beomgyu was busy, he was focused on finishing this one artwork that he had been working for the past two weeks and he wouldn't let this day passed without finishing it. He made himself clear the moment he woke up that he would never be distracted by anything today.

It was almost done, just couple of finishing touches and he would call it a day when his parents walked into his own studio. He didn't even noticed they were staring at him for almost fifteen minutes already until his dad finally spoke.

"Beom." He started causing the male to  turned his head immediately to the familiar voice.

His brows furrowed confused as to why his parents came here when they don't easily just visit without letting him know in advance.

"Oh, hi mom... and dad!" He greeted as he smiled after a last stroke before putting down the brush and facing his parents. His mom then enveloped him into a hug not minding how messy he looked like.

"What are you doing here?" He asked as he grabbed a clean towel to clean his hand.

"Are you busy?" Her mom asked and Beomgyu just shook his head.

"Almost finished with that so I have time. Why? Is something bothering you?" He asked after putting the towel down and then making his way in front of his parents.

"Uhh... I—We just wanna talk to you about s-something." Her mom answered a bit anxious causing Beomgyu to looked at both of them curiously.

"Is it that serious? Woah, you guys are scaring me. Am I dying already?" He joked out causing his dad to glare at him which he immediately gave him a cute face.

"Now, don't ever talked about something like that Beomgyu. You do understand that we didn't wanna hear a joke like that, do you?" Her mom asked in a serious manner causing Beomgyu to nod and apologized.

"Sorry mom. Take a seat will you?" He said as he gestured them to the nearest sofa.

Three of them settled and a minute had passed, no one was talking. The room was filled with an awkward silence and Beomgyu was slowly getting anxious about it.

"So?" He questioned trying to strike the conversation.

"Beomie, we would like to request something." His dad started out before squeezing the hand of his partner causing Beomgyu to raise a brow looking at them being affectionate in front of him.

It's not like he wasn't used to it though maybe he felt something different... a little bit of jealousy.

"Dear, you know about your whole situation and mine right?" Her mom asked again causing Beomgyu to shift comfortably on his seat and nod.

Now this is really serious. He thought to himself not wanting to let out any single word without listening to the entire story.

"I-I don't think I will last longer Beom." She started out causing Beomgyu to widened his eyes from fear.

"Mom, w-what are you talking about?" He asked nervously but his mom gave him a chuckle.

"What I mean is that, I don't think my sight would last long enough Beom and before I lose it... completely. I wanted to have one last thing to see." She continued.

Beomgyu then stood up, walked to where they were sitting and tried to sit between his parents with his eyes watering.

"Mom, don't say that please." He said as the tears starts to rain from both of his eyes.

He is sad. He knew that this day will come soon but he wasn't still ready yet. He didn't want her mom to lose her sight yet. He wanted to let him see all his artworks in the gallery first, he wanted him to see how he would look when he grows old. He wanted to let his mom see the beauty of everything but he knew, he knew he had to accept it.
