Chapter 35

It was a month today. Time flies so much but to Taehyun, it felt like it had been a year already. Being away from Beomgyu was pure torture from him.

He cried a lot the day Beomgyu's parents bought him far away from him for his recovery. It was already a whole fucking month of not him seeing his Beomgyu in person, not being able to touch him, not being able to feel his warmth and not being able to just be there by his side.

He had been going home every weekends. Even if he had a really tight schedule due to their comeback and other promotions, he never forgets to visit his son. He's been also doing a lot of music compositions so his Beomgyu has something to listen to the moment he wake up. In short, Taehyun is making his ass so busy so he couldn't let loneliness and longing for Beomgyu wouldn't eat him.

Jennie decided to volunteer to take care of Hyunie. Although Beomgyu's parents insisted that they could find someone, Jennie herself doesn't want anyone to lay a hand on Hyunie because she knows that Beomgyu won't be too happy about it. She have time for the boy anyways, always had.

Beomgyu's mom stayed with him while his dad continues with their business. Beomgyu is actually getting better but he isn't waking up yet and Taehyun calls them every single night. He checks Beomgyu every day even if how tired he is. Even if it's one in the morning, he'd apologize to Beomgyu's mom for calling but the woman understands him too well.

He misses his Gyu so much. He'd always wear Beomgyu's hoodies every time he went home so he'd always reminded by his scent and hopefully his warmth but it was never the same. He'd always realize that it will never be the same warmth his Beomgyu will give him. They even celebrated Hyunie's first birthday without him.

It was just a simple celebration. Beomgyu's parents decided to set the dinner on their pool because Taehyun doesn't want any extravagant celebration, not when Beomgyu isn't around. The guy had already planned everything out and Taehyun doesn't wanna pursue everything when the person behind it won't be around. They could always celebrate it when Beomgyu wake up.

They were currently on their second photoshoot for the day for a brand ambassador when their manager called everyone's attention.

"I need to speak to the five of you after this." Youngjae informed everyone causing them to nod curiously.

"He sounds serious." Huening Kai suddenly commented.

"Should we be scared?" Yeonjun asked. Soobin just shrugged the two while Taehyun had his eyes closed the moment Youngjae turned around.

He had been feeling so unmotivated for the whole month and it was actually beginning to affect the group but everyone tried to do their best to understand the poor boy. They need to understand that their brother is going through a lot right now.

When the photoshoot ended, they all went back to the main building and went directly to their CEO's office. Taehyun wouldn't lie that he's kinda curious at the same time anxious because he couldn't remember a thing they have done to upset the company. In fact, they did so well on their latest comeback and the promotions will end the next day.

"Good afternoon, Pd-nim." Their manager greeted after a bow and everyone did the same as well. Taehyun couldn't feel but starts to get bored now. He just wanna go home and cuddle with Hyunie right now while they talk to Beomgyu's mom with Beomgyu on screen.

"How was your day, gentlemen?" The CEO asked them fondly.

"It was productive Pd-nim although it was a little bit tiring." Yeonjun replied earning a chuckle from the old man.

"It's not like you're not used to it though." He said as a matter of fact.

"How is Beomgyu, Taehyun?" The question made Taehyun looked up and gave their CEO a sad smile.
