Tomura spat out his drink with a loud noise. The sight of you in the crowd at the UA sports festival had taken him completely by surprise. He wiped the computer monitor off with his sleeve quickly, before any damage could be done to his precious computer. He had only caught a glimpse of you but he'd know you anywhere. You had already disappeared from the screen but he feverishly searched for you in the crowd anyway.

Sighing, he slumped back in his chair. The cat brushed up against his leg, startling him. It jumped into his lap and curled up. Just looking at the creature made his heart ache. All it did was remind him of you. He scratched its head with a finger and tried to focus on the screen once more. It was important for him to focus on this stupid contest, many of his plans dealt with UA, he couldn't get distracted.

There you were again. Tomura immediately moved forward to see you closer. He leaned his elbow on the table so he could place his head against his hand. Ever since he had driven you away he had tried to focus on his plans. He tried to convince himself you weren't important, just like he had told you. But something inside pained him. No matter how much he lied to himself, you were still his last thought when he went to sleep and the first thought when he woke. Nothing could change that, no matter how hard he tried.

His eyes focused on the cat sitting in his lap. You had trusted him with this animal. He felt ashamed he had ruined that trust.

"I fucked up, didn't I?" He asked the cat flatly.

The cat stared at him and then started licking its paw, ignoring him completely.

He sighed, wanting to know how you were. If you were happier, without him around.

You lagged behind letting Natsuo and Shoto have some space as they talked. The intimidating flame hero had left and now the three of you were walking out of the stadium. You weren't sure of what to do, just go home, visit your mother, you didn't know. The short conversation with Endeavor left you feeling uncomfortable. You had always considered your parents to be mediocre Heroes at best. Your mom had her flashy electricity quirk while your dad had a defense quirk of some kind. They had become a hero duo at some point, your mother became pregnant and then they got married. That's really all you knew. Endeavor however seemed to respect them, unusual given the said hero's image in the media as a well known asshole.

You walked straight into Natsuo's back, being so lost in thought you hadn't noticed the brothers stop. Yelping in shock you fell back onto your butt, more from surprise than anything.

"Ah! You okay y/n?" Natsuo quickly leaned down and pulled you back to your feet.

"I'm fine, I just got lost in thought I guess." You brushed your clothes off.

"Be more careful next time." Natsuo grinned, patting your head with his large hand. The touch made you feel a bit awkward, you scratched your neck and avoided his gaze.

"Are you guys dating or something?" Shoto interjected in a monotone voice.

"Uh! no." You said nervously, wishing people would stop assuming that. Shoto caught Natsuo's expression fall at your response.

"Natsuo, I think I'm going to go visit Mom." Shoto changed the subject.

"Wait really?" Natsuo's face brightened. "That will make her happy, I'm glad."

"Yeah, I just think it's time." Shoto nodded solemnly. "I'm heading out, see you at home. Bye y/n."

"Bye." Both you and Natsuo said in unison.

"Want me to drive you home?" Natsuo asked you.

"Sure, okay." You nodded, not wanting to take the long walk back to your apartment alone.
