I think keeping this to himself and being embarrassed was getting to him.  Barry I never meant to hurt him. The cop  wife wasn't doing it for me. He talked about retiring and never did. I just didn't want to be a widow when he can retire and things were just not working out for us. When I came to visit here for vacation,  I didn't know Lisa lived here. Things just took its own natural course and I have no regrets. I know my mother married her love too. She didn't mean to fall into love with a woman either but the heart has its own need as you know. Barry put me in his truck and drove me to the hospital where I puked again on him and his truck.

Esmi this is Lisa. Frost is bringing in Katelyn.  I think her appendix is acting up.  We are close by and I already called Becca.  She and Jane are on their way. I still have to call her roommates.  Thanks for telling me Lisa.

I hung up and called Mandi.
Mandi Katelyn is being taken to the hospital.  She puked and grabbed her side sorta. I think it's her appendix.  Okay thanks.  We all cannot go but one of us will be there.

My guy was so brave, calm and carried me inside for help. My mother was already downstairs ready with the medical team to take me in immediately. Frost laid me on the gurney and I was rushed into surgery.
A quick exam showed my appendix ruptured.
I was put out.
Frost was parking his truck and cleaning his truck and kept his windows partially down when we arrived. 
Aye partner,  they rushed her into surgery. I had to remove my truck from the emergency entrance.  She puked in my truck and my bed.
Those can be cleaned or replaced but she cannot be. Partner she will be okay. We just glad you weren't working yet.  I was outside with Kiki and Lisa yelled for us.
Michele parks and runs to us.
How is she Barry? They took her into surgery.  This is all I know. Barry go rinse off. Sorry , she got sick on me too.
Barry tossed his shirt away in the garbage and just had a tshirt on.
We all went inside and waited.
Esmi came and told us Lisa was correct.  Her appendix ruptured.  They are dealing with it now. I am going to go back now. Becca come with me. Okay mom. Lisa, Kiki and Mandi don't know I am a doctor.
Mom how bad is it? Real bad. Barry got her in time but they are still worried.
My mom and I observed the surgery. They look like they got it all. But boy she was a mess. Mom I will stay with her at Barry's or she can stay with us or wherever she wants to stay at. Thanks sweetie.  Mom of course. I only have one sister and you by blood. I will do whatever I can do. Becca how is Jane doing? Her hands are taking longer to heal and it's frustrating her.
She can go to work next week but to do desk duty only. She is not happy that is all I am allowing.  Thank you for writing the doctor note stipulating that. 
A few hours passed and Katelyn was waking up puking from the anesthesia and having food in her system.
Barry thank you. I am sorry for puking in your bed and truck.  Katelyn those are material things you aren't.  I will pay to get them cleaned.  Your mom is already doing that for me. Kiki took my truck to my place so when they clean my mattress and carpet they can clean my truck too. Your mom and sister wanted me to see you first because you know. Yes, I do.  Mandi is here with Lisa.  I guess we need to call Lisa Dr. Lisa Fox now.  Lisa walks in. I can go for that. I will have my assistant Kiki send you a bill this week.  Lisa stop don't make me laugh.  Sorry.
On the serious side, I am glad Barry got you here quick. He used his siren. I know. Jane laughed when she saw him turning it off. I sure did. This department allows us to use our own vehicles at times.  I chose to use my pick but not my car.  I chose not to.  Mandi the others know. Leonardo already came by as well as Hector and a few others too.  They brought you this . They are putting me to shame. Barry don't be. You got me here in time.
