Several days have gone by. Katelyn is back home still recuperating and her mom and sister still check in on her.
Jane and Barry are now working full time. Jane hates desk duty but likes being at work at least. 
I am observing my coworkers on who I will be able to trust and who I will be civil with for the jobs sake.
Jane let's go have lunch at Lorenzo's my treat. I am down for that Antonio.

Antonio what's going on with you? I noticed you been in this funk for a few days now. This case Jane it is bugging me. I have thought of everything and turned every rock and still can't Crack it. Let's go over what you have so far.
While we are eating at the pizzeria, Lorenzo comes up to check on my to see how I am doing.
Lorenzo I am doing better still on the desk but at least not at home. I can only clean my house so much.  I am not one for having a tidy place. Becca finally had the maid doing other things to keep her employed because I was doing her work which wasn't the norm for me.  I know that feeling when I broke my hand.  Hang in there.  It will get better.  Thanks.
Jane and I continue to discuss my case and Jane gives me a few suggestions to look at. One I was thinking myself but wasn't sure if my captain would go for it. Jane goes with me for a routine check up on the way back to the precinct. Unfortunately,  it just wasn't an ordinary routine.  The bank robber is present and takes off running.  Jane goes after him in her car and corners him drawing her gun. I arrive in time to arrest him.  We book him and the captain yells at us both. 
Antonio you know she is on light duty. What is it with your former state cops. You both lucked out no one got hurt. Now get out of my office. Rizzoli stay.  Rizzoli I just got your clearance.  Since you went against protocol you have two weeks of desk duty. If this happens again, you don't want to find out. Now go home it's late. Yes. Captain.
Antonio is waiting for me by my car.
What did the captain say? I was off of desk duty but since I went against protocol.  I have two more weeks of it and if I screw up again.  I don't want to know.  Let's go to my house to have some beers and kick it. Becca is working late tonight.
We pull into my driveway.

I put my garage door down and we walk to the house.

I am getting ready to open the door and Becca opens it up for me.
Hey sweetie.  You came home early. Yeah. I was able to get done sooner than I expected.  I picked up dinner from Lorenzo's for us.  Hello Antonio.  There is more than enough for us three.

Becca goes inside to get dinner out for us.
Hush on what we had for lunch and what happened.  No problem.
Babe how was work today? Busy as usual and boring.  Boring huh. Yeah boring. Is there anything you want to tell me? No not really.  Okay.
I will let Jane think she got away with it for now. 
We eat dinner and talk about ongoing things in the world.
Antonio leaves and we say good bye.
Jane secures our home and we go to bed.
BABE WHY DO YOU FEEL THE NEED TO LIE TO ME? WHAT DO YOU MEAN? WORK AND YOU GOING AFTER THE BANK ROBBER. OH, FUCKIN' FROST. YEAH,  BUT HE IS CONCERNED ABOUT YOU AS I AM. SO I FINALLY ASK MY MOM TO RELEASE YOU TO FULL TIME DUTY TOMORROW AND BUY YOU PIZZA to celebrate.  You do this. Becca yes, but it was just a hunch. Hunch or not.  You shouldn't of been there and you know it.  I worry about you enough on the job you do.  You know that.  Even when you both protected me I was worried  and I was the one you two were protecting me. Today...just don't get me going further.  Becca captain ripped me and I have two more weeks of desk duty.  If I go against protocol again, I don't want to know what he will do he says.  Becca I didn't want you to worry about me. Jane as long as you have that job.  I will always worry more than another job. Becca kisses me on my cheek and turns away from me.
Don't snuggle me either.
Oh boy,  here I go again in the dog house. I get up out of bed and get some water and call Frost.
Frost what the fuck you snitched on me.  I thought you had my back partner. Jane I do. You know you shouldn't of been there.  The captain could of suspended you or fired you. We both are still on probation for another 30 days.  I know. She played it cool while Antonio was here but now I am getting the cold shoulder treatment.  Her mom had written me to go back to my regular duties tomorrow and she bought pizza to celebrate.  I sure missed this up. Talk to you tomorrow.  Okay.
I get into bed.  I know she is still awake. 
Becca I  am sorry for not being forthcoming and not telling you the truth. I just don't like to worry you. I know you think of Hoyt and I still do to sweetie.
Becca turns around and holds me she was crying and I hadn't realized it.
Oh sweetie.  I will do better.  I don't like you worry and seeing you this way.
Jane I just don't want to lose you.  I will do my best.  I kiss Becca where her tears were and kiss her passionately.  Tonight I made love to her like I have been wanting too for awhile.
I lay on my back afterwards and she climbed on top of me resting her head on my chest and we  fall asleep.
