Jay:
Yeah, give me a few minutes.
I'm a little busy at the moment.
Kat:
Okay. No rush.

"Hey, Kat. What's up?"
"I'm worried about Jared..."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, we went out to eat last night,
and he seemed really distant. And he only
started acting that way after I introduced him
to my friend Aaron."
"Aaron as in the best friend on social
media who calls you boo? And you call
babe?"
"Yeah, that one. Why?"
"What exactly happened when you introduced
them to each other?"
"Well, Jared had us leave pretty quickly right after
I introduced him, and as soon as we were in the car
he asked if Aaron and I were just friends. I assured him
that we were, and then he got really quiet and withdrawn."
"Kat, do you remember the actress who
played Ruby last season?"
"Genevieve Cortese. Yeah, why?"
"Well, Jared should really be the one to tell
you the whole story, but just know that he
dated her for a while and he was really serious
about her before she broke his heart."
"He loved her."
"More than anything, yeah. She really helped him
with his depression when he was just starting to deal
with it."
"Thanks, Jay. That really helps."
"Yeah, of course. And don't pressure him into telling you
or anything. Let him tell you when he's ready."
"Yeah, I know. I understand the
need to keep stuff to yourself.
I'll talk to you later, okay?"
"Sounds good. See you around, Kat."
"See you, Jensen."
