"N/n?" " a nickname." " Oh okay, it's a pleasure to meet you Ms and Mister Cullen. I'm Y/n Swan." You adresses them. Jasper got up and checked the kitchen moving through the door and dashed away. He had went and got food. He entered to see you and Esme chatting away. " Edward was furious when he found out she was better at piano then him." Carlisle laughed. " Don't be mad, I can't read music" you said with a small laugh to show you were indeed teasing. Jasper sat beside you as you kicked Emmett's butt in checkers " How, how are you good at this but can't see" " patience is a virtue you don't possess" you said softly thinking of your move and smiled. " I win" you said and " but you-" you moved collecting the last 5 pieces. " Your evil." "No you just suck and checkers." " We suck at everything compared to you." " Not fashion" Alice threw in " and not cars" Rosalie added in protest. " We can't be sure my mom took my sewing machine saying it was a danger and my dad refuses to let me anywhere near tools." The girls pouted as you subconsciously leaned back into Jasper who just loved it. " Is anyone hungry." " No we get up pretty early and do family runs." You looked at them confused " in the middle of the woods, where you could die, no offense to your life choices but that just doesn't sound smart, but if that's how you bond that's how you bond." You said playfully. You got up and went to the kitchen they forgot you were blind and rushed to the kitchen to see you humming and making food. They bit their nails as she grabbed a knife and made a fruit salad. You finished and started washing the dishes slowly putting them away you sat down and ate. Jasper took a step in and you turned. " Jasper are you hungry I can share?" You softly asked, when the doorbell went off. It was the Denali coming for a vist and the smelt human, confused they looked at Edward. " Whose here?" Jasper asked. " Our cousins from Alaska." Edward shared. The Denali gasped at the human as the door let in a gentle brezze the dove for cover as the sun hit their skin but the girl just waved at them " she knows we wi-" " she's blind" Alice said. They were shocked " why is she here?" Tanya asked only for Jasper to start a game of chess with her for a answer " she's his mate." " How long have they known each other?" Kate asked " barely a day" Emmett said with a laugh. Your ears picked up on laughter just as butterflies flew in some landed around you. They watched you and Jaspers match " for someone who doesn't like war your sure good at planning them." " Jasper it's not war" you said and smiled picking up your piece " it games" you said and took his king. " How" Jasper asked replaying everything you laughed a little " watch the board not just the pieces you thought didn't need to move in war you never go for a direct kill you infiltrate and kill it's swifter. Anyway you have cousins to go see and I have to call my dad." Jasper was saddened " alright I'll ask Alice for you some clothes." " Thank you" you said. Jasper stood and motioned to the living room " why'd we move to the living room?" " She has amazing hearing" Roasile said. " Can I stay in Alaska my blood singers here" Edward asked. " Always." Jasper heard a gasp and ran to you they all did to find a whole ass bear licking you as if it were dog. You smiled and pushed. " Bad bear bad bear." Emmett was put on nerve. The bear got off of you and you stood. The bear licked at your legs as apologetic as a bear can be. " It's alright, I'm alright" you said looking at them all. " It's nice to meet you all." You shared.
" Bears are dangerous" " but they're oh so sweet" you countered. You and Jasper were having a argument more so then him scolding you. Emmett just stared at the bear it looked the same as the one that killed him. He slowly approached the bear went to snap but you threw a shoe at it. It whined " we don't eat people." You scolded the bear.
The bear seemed very hurt by the shoe and even more so by the person who threw it but didn't do anything as if it had been told by it's master " good bear come here" Jasper sighed seeing the sight was absolutely precious he just rolled with it. You causally released the bear and went with Alice getting ready for you school you guys got in the car you walked in unnoticed thankfully. You sat down and your day began you missed the classes Jasper wasn't in and he missed you. The Cullen's kept tabs if they were in a class which they would exchange to get to Jasper making him a little less sad but you were his as much as he was yours and he wanted his mate. He thought about how to get his mate. He sighed and as lunch came around he was for once happy to go to the cafeteria. You sat down eating a fruit cup. " I want to go home and sleep." You said feeling unusually tired.
Jasper noticed this and let you sleep on his shoulder rubbing your hand secretly. Whispers about the weirdo new girl kept going until someone threw a fork at you. You caught it with two fingers and returned it grazing the persons cheek. Jasper tried to calm down by breathing but that didn't work so when you interlocked hands he was shocked enough to calm down.
Jasper woke you up softly saying it's time to go outside for some air.
