A huge, stone structure before me blocking out the sun. Around me are craters ranging in size from being as small as your hand to being as big as a Mamoswine.

"I'm guessing this is Meteor Falls." I say, looking around at the various holes carved into the ground. Chatot nods his head.

"Great deduction work, Sherlock." I lightly smack the back of his head. Something suddenly flies past my vision and I quickly turn around. I see a woman in a red uniform head into the cave at the base of the falls. Before she enters I manage to catch a glimpse of a black "M" on the front of her shirt. Team Magma is definitely here. I quietly sneak up to the entrance and poke my head around the corner. Ahead of me is a staircase carved into the stone leading up to a higher level. I slip inside and creep up the staircase. I stay close to the ground, signalling Chatot to be quiet before emerging at the top. A giant waterfall cascades down one side of the massive cave. Craters litter the floor of the cavern. Several pokemon hide in the shadows near the walls and a few swim in the small lake at the bottom of the waterfall. Another stone staircase leads up to a ledge next to the falls. Voices echo around the cave and I strain my ears to listen. I quickly recognize the stuttering voice of the professor and I feel Chatot nudge my shoulder, indicating that he heard him too. I slowly make my way up the stairs and peek over the top. I see Prof. Cozmo surrounded by a female grunt and a much larger man. The man has his hand drawn back, ready to give the professor a good beating. I quickly leap up, revealing myself.

"Hey! What do you guys want this time?" I yell, absolutely furious. The man lowers his fist and slowly ,turns around. His uniform is slightly different than the normal attire. There is no black "M" on the front, instead a pattern of black lines trace the front of his chest. His hair is black and neatly combed. His eyes remind me of Brock's because they are just slits, except he wears a smirk instead of a smile like Brock always had. He eyes me, analysing my potential. I stand still, waiting for him to speak. Chatot tenses and readies himself to attack at any given moment.

"What have we here? Why has a child suddenly appeared?" he asks to no one in particular. I groan. Again with the name? I'm not a child! Do I look like one to you, weirdo?

"H-help m-me. Please." Prof. Cozmo whimpers. My blood begins to boil.

"Who are you and what do you want?" I snap angrily. The man just smirks while the woman beside him scowls at me.

"Is it really your intention to oppose me, Tabitha, a Team Magma Admin?" Tabitha laughes. "Very well then. I'll show you how terrifying Team Magma truly is." Both him and the grunt pull out a pokeball. Tabitha releases a Mightyena, while the grunt releases a Koffing. I grab two of my pokemon and throw them out revealing Kirlia and Combusken.

"Quick, Kirlia! Use Psychic on Koffing! Combusken use Double-Kick on Mighytena." I order. Kirlia's eyes glow blue and Koffing is lifted into the air while Combusken charges at Mightyena.

"Dodge, Mightyena" Tabitha says. Mightyena barely dodges my attack and Combusken jumps backwards to avoid running into the wall. Kirlia throws Koffing into a wall, but the grunt retaliates.

"Koffing use Self-Destruct." Oh-no. I know how powerful that move is.

"Move, Kirlia!" I shout. The psychic-type tries to get away, but he gets caught in the explosion and gets blown across the room. The Koffing from the effect the move has. Kirlia struggles to get up and stumbles forward. I rush to his side.

"It's okay, Kirlia. It's a very powerful move. Get some rest." I quietly return the injured pokemon. Now it's just me and the so-called powerful admin. I call out a move quickly.

"Use flamethrower." Combusken lets lose a powerful flamethrower. Mightyena tries to dodge, but he still gets singed.

"Mightyena use Snarl." Tabitha says, smirking. Mightyena snarls and a purple ring flies through the air towards Combusken. I smirk, a plan forming in my head.

"Jump up and use Double-Kick. Use Flamethrower if it tries to dodge." Combusken jumps above the attack. His feet glow red and he smashes one into Mightyena's back. He uses the other to kick it across the cavern. It smashes into a wall and falls to the ground, too weak to get up. Tabitha scowls and returns it before enlarging another pokeball. This time he sends out a Numel. I grin evilly. This is too easy.

"Return, Combusken." I say, returning him to his ball. "You know what to do, Chatot." He nods, copying my grin before taking off from my shoulder. Tabitha smirks.

"I thought you would know that flying-types are weak against ground-types." he chuckles. I laugh menacingly.

"Never underestimate my abilities." Before he has a chance to respond Chatot suddenly appears and slams into Numel with incredible speed and power. Numel skids backwards and collapses at Tabitha's feet. Chatot glides back to my shoulder and I cross my arms over my chest, smirking at the two shocked grunts.

"This is a shocking development! It would do you good to stay out of our way, child." he says calmly as if nothing happened. A growl echoes in my throat and I can feel Chatot trembling with anger.

"Team Magma's scientific prowess, Mt. Chimney's energy, and the hidden power of the meteorite! If we combine them all , a super-ancient pokemon-" A thundering laugh interrupts Tabitha's speech.

"You lost to this girl? What a bunch of lazy stooges. You idiotic grunts will be the downfall of Team Magma!" Oh great, another mentally insane person. Joy...

"Who are you? Show yourself!" I shout, clenching my fist. A tall, muscular man appears below us and walks up another staircase behind the professor. He's dressed all in blue with a blue bandanna wrapped around his head. A gold anchor hangs off a chain necklace. His clothes and accessories suggest that he loves the water and, judging by his accent, he must be a type of pirate. I snarl when I notice a white symbol shaped like an "A" on his bandanna. Another crazy organization. Two goons line up on either side of him each wearing similar clothing.

"So, even Team Aqua is making an appearance." Tabitha growls, turning around. Team Aqua sounds like the opposite of Team Magma to me. Two organizations in one region and they have to be rivals? Not good, not good at all.

"You there! I want the meteorite now!" Tabitha shouts at the grunt. The grunt salutes him.

"Yes, sir!" she exclaims. She rushes over to Prof. Cozmo and yanks the meteorite out of his hands, leaving him stunned in the process. She hands the meteorite to Tabitha. He laughs maniacally.

"Now the meteorite is mine! I'm off to Mt. Chimney. Adios to each and everyone of you." With that said he and the grunt make a quick escape.

"Dang it!" I shout furiously, ready to pursue them. Chatot taps my shoulder and shakes his head.

"I don't think it's a good idea to go after them. Let's hear what the new guy has to say." he whispers in my ear. I nod and reluctantly turn around. One of the Team Aqua goons faces the leader.

"We'll go after those monsters, Archie." he says, shaking his fist. Archie frowns.

"That's right! We'll catch those imbeciles!" Archie walks up to me. I scowl at him and he smirks back.

"You seem to be quite the trainer. The name's Archie. I am the leader of Team Aqua, a group that is focused on returning the world to a pristine state. One that'll be perfect for pokemon to live in. Looks like you've been giving Team Magma some trouble, eh? Remember this though, if you get in the way of Team Aqua you won't get off so lightly. Stay out of our way. I'll be seeing you 'round." He shoves me to the side and follows the route Tabitha used. The grunts catch up to him and follow him out of the cave. I shake my head and turn back around to face Prof. Cozmo. He seems to be staring at the ground.

"Um...Prof. Cozmo?" I ask hesitantly. He doesn't answer me and continues to stare at the ground. I sigh.

"Come on, professor. I'll take you back to Fallarbor Town." I lightly grab his sleeve and tug him towards the exit. He obeys and I lead him out of Meteor Falls. What a day this has been. Now I have to deal with Team Aqua. I glance up from the ground for a moment and see a trainer walking down the path with a familiar scowl plastered on his face.

"Just great..." I groan. Now I have to deal with him.

Just a quick note. I have TONS of homework and three tests, so I might not be able to update this tomorrow. Luckily I have a two week break after this week, so I will have a lot of time to update this. I'll be in Wales the first week, but I will try my best! Thanks for the support! (I DON'T OWN POKEMON!)
