My eyes slowly blink open and focus on my surroundings. I'm in a pokemon center room in Lilycove City. Paul and I arrived late last night, tired from all the battling and traveling. I fell asleep the moment my head hit the pillow.

I glance around the small room. Sunlight seeps in through the blinds, lighting up the darkness. A plasma TV sits on a table on the right side of the room in front of a white couch and a small, glass table sits in-between the two. The bathroom door is on the left side of the room and the door to the hallway is on the opposite wall from our beds.

I swing my legs over the side of the bed and stretch my arms. A yawn escapes my mouth as I stand up and make my way over to my bag. The clock hanging on the wall says 8:30. Perfect time to wake up. Hopefully I can hit the store and get a new outfit. This one has been worn way too many times. Something moves behind me and I turn to see Paul sitting up groggily. I smirk seeing him getting up so late. Usually he's up before I am.

"This is new." I say, grinning mischievously. He gives me a quick glare before getting up. A blush rises to my cheeks and I turn away quickly. Get a hold of yourself, Dawn! He's just shirtless...no big deal. After mentally slapping myself for a few moments I get up from the floor. My head suddenly feels heavy and I stagger a bit.

"Why does my head feel like a ton of bricks?" I ask no one in particular. Paul snickers behind me and I spin around to find him smirking. I glare at him, trying desperately to keep myself from staring at his chest.

"Take a look in the mirror." he says, chuckling the whole time. I scowl at him and walk into the white bathroom. A shower and bathtub sits on my left and a sink with a mirror is on my right. I slowly walk over to the mirror and take a look at myself. I start to giggle at the sight. Sleeping peacefully on my head is none other than Chatot.

Trying hard to keep him balanced on my head I saunter back into the room. Paul is still sitting on the edge of his bed, pulling a shirt over his head.

"What are you going to do?" he asks, yawning in the process. A sly smile passes over my face. Paul stares at me, wondering what I have in mind for my little bird friend.

"When I run my shower I'm going to stick him in the bathtub and blast him with cold water." I answer, still smiling. Paul continues to stare at me, wondering if I have a death-wish. Maybe I do.

"How are you going to do that?" he questions. I carefully lift Chatot off my head and hold him in my arms.

"He sleeps like a rock. It's pretty easy to move him." I explain, walking into the bathroom. I set him down in the tub and reach for the handle. He shifts, mumbling something and I freeze in place. I exhale slowly when he starts snoring again. In one swift movement I turn on the tap, leaving it on cold, and dash out of the bathroom, slamming the door behind me. A highly irritated squawk fills the room and I quickly run to the couch, leaping onto it. Paul looks at me curiously before glancing at the bathroom door.

It slams open to reveal a very angry and extremely wet Chatot standing on the floor. He storms into the room.

"Who did this!?" he shouts at the top of his lungs. I quickly peek over the couch, holding up a pillow in my defence.

"It was Paul, not me. I swear." I say hastily. Chatot slowly turns on Paul, hatred burning in his eyes.

"You!" he says menacingly. Paul, for once, looks scared as Chatot advances towards him, his claws glowing red.

"DAWN!" Paul exclaims angrily, glaring at me. I laugh and drop to the floor, crawling to the end of his bed. This is so much fun. I grab a pillow and hurl it at Chatot, knocking him off the bed. He leaps up and fixes his eyes on me.
