The chirping of Taillows wakes me from my deep sleep. I yawn and rub my eyes as I sit up. I glance around the lustrious, green forest and, for a moment, I forget where I am. Something moves next to me and I look to my right to find Paul still fast asleep next to me. I giggle softly as the events of last night come rushing back.

After the confession and kiss we decided it would be best to stay for the night. I let out Blaziken to keep watch and Paul let out his Electivire. We then settled down against the tree and basically watched the clouds float past, while we told each other what we had done in the last year. I guess we both fell asleep eventually with me laying my head on his shoulder.

I look down and notice Paul's arm still wrapped around my waist. After a few moments of carefully inching my way out of his grasp I grab my pokeball and return Blaziken, who is napping nearby, and head into the forest to do some training.

As I walk I begin thinking about what happened yesterday in the lab. It seems that the mega stone gives me some extra power, just like how pokemon gain power from mega evolving. I noticed it started glowing when I was trying to control all that electricity.

A glimmer of light catches my attention and I spin around to find out what it is. Another flash appears from a dark, evergreen bush off to my right. I kneel down next to it and brush some of the dirt away. A round object begins to take shape and, after a sharp tug, it comes loose. I hold it in my hand and carefully rub away the rest of the dirt. After the dirt is gone I look down at the white, round stone in the palm of my hand. I narrow my eyes and examine the colour. It looks just like the blazikenite I received from Steven except this stone is white with a curving red and green stripe down the middle. Interesting.

I quickly pocket the stone and continue making my way through the forest. A small, shallow stream emerges from the trees and I sigh in relief. I use the water to wash my face before picking up my bag and shuffling through it for my old, pink shirt. I quickly find it and pull it out along with my black sweatshirt. I peel off the black t-shirt Maxie forced me to wear and wash myself off before pulling on my pink t-shirt and black hoodie.

I stuff the shirt in my bag and swing it over my shoulder. The wind blows through the forest and ruffles my hair slightly. My wet hair sticks to my face and neck as I stroll down the bank of the stream. I come across a clearing and, realizing the perfect opportunity to train, pull out two pokeballs.

"Come on out guys!" I exclaim, tossing the pokeballs out. They both pop open and release the two pokemon inside. I grab the empty balls and look up at Chatot and Kirlia, who are both looking at me curiously.

"Okay, okay, I'll explain." I sigh, giving in to their stares. They walk up to me and sit down next to me as I take my place on a flat, grey rock. I explain everything that had happened the past few days and how Team Magma now knows my secret. Chatot grows anxious about our safety while Kirlia just fumes at my words.

"How dare they!" he shouts angrily when I finish the story. He starts pacing back and forth in front of me, muttering words the whole time. Chatot and I just watch as he continues his angry rant. Chatot decides to step in at this point.

"Look, Kirlia. I know you are mad and you now hate them even more, but complaining about it isn't going to help." he says wisely. Kirlia stomps up to use, still fuming.

"Well, what should I do?" he asks furiously. He plops down next to me and crosses his arms. Chatot looks at him sadly and shakes his head. I stare at Kirlia, trying to come up with something to cheer him up. I rack my brain for ideas until I finally come up with one. That's perfect! He should stop his rant after I show him this. I smile to myself and grab my backpack.
