It was Ej. Great. I turned around and slightly waved.
"I said I liked you, and you said you liked me too." Ej started saying, "This doesn't mean we are dating,"
My heart dropped. So now I know where we stand. Friends who like each other, but aren't dating. Soon to be former friends.
"So you can't tell other people to back off."
I felt tears forming in my eyes.
"If you truly like me, you would stay away from me from now on."
I felt a few tears ripple down my cheeks. He started to walk away but then turned around and looked at me.
"And.." He started to say.
I looked up from the ground in tears.
"..Don't bother telling anyone to back off of me. Instead, tell people we aren't dating. You know, while you're at it, tell them we aren't friends anymore too."
More tears rolled down my face. My eyes were blurry and my hands were shaking. I could almost taste my tears of how much was on my face. And that's when It hit me. Lily was right behind me to see it all. I turned around to see her face. She had a big smirk on her face that I wanted to smack. That's when I saw her phone.. She was recording the whole time.
"Oopsies!" she said sarcastically, "Would hate to accidentally post this online to the whole school!" She said sarcastically as she flipped her curly blonde hair into my face.
What a gross brat.
