"Are you alright?"

Sighing, the boy turned on his side, tossing the covers over him to stay comfortable. He had recited those lines the night before as well. He couldn't get that moment out of his head. Was she gonna be okay? Had he made a grave mistake by letting her figure it out herself?

"God dammit..." He muttered, rubbing his eyes. Sitting up, he reached over to his nightstand and grabbed his glasses. Putting them on, he slugged his legs out of bed and stood up. The time was currently 3:24am, Tsukishima couldn't bring himself to go to sleep after replaying her words over and over.

The boy slowly opened his door, and walked through the hallway towards the kitchen. The dead of night was upon him, a dark blanket covered the Miyagi prefecture.

Something about the atmosphere was eerie, yet nostalgic to the blonde. He set his phone on the countertop, opening the fridge. Light beamed out, blinding him for a split second.

Squinting, the boy took out a carton of milk, and poured it into a cup he had gotten prior.

Taking a sip, the boys eyes wandered to his phone. As if on cue, the phone lit up, illuminating the walls around him. Tsukishima slowly put down his cup, wiping a milk mustache off of his upper lip. He picked up his phone, anticipation rising.

Y/N: ' U up? '

The boys eyes widened, immediately grabbing his phone at the notification. He held it in his grip, inhaling deeply. Tsukishima opened the text, methodically tapping on the keyboard.

Tsukishima: 'Yeah, what's up'

The boy watched his phone intently, waiting patiently for a response.

Within seconds, his phone lit up once again.

Y/N: 'Im outside'

"Wha-"

Suddenly the boy heard a quiet knock on the front door. Cringing, he jogged over.

"My mom and brother are sleeping! What the hell are you doing here?" He whispered.

You bit the inside of your cheek, looking downwards. "You deserve an explanation for yesterday. Can we take a walk?" You looked back up, pursing your lips.

The boy's gaze softened when meeting your eyes. Sighing, he closed the door behind him.

"Where to." He narrowed his eyes, crossing his arms.

"I don't know, the park?" You rubbed your shoulder.

"Fine." He stated, walking past you and making you catch up with him.
