You watched as the ball held little to no spin, the colors slowly mixing into one another as it gained altitude amongst the others in the air. All eyes were glued to the ball as it landed in Kageyama's skillful hands. He then tossed it backward, in a split second Hinata hit it with all his might, sending it barreling behind the front row.

The breeze tickled y/n's neck, her eyes widened and glimmered with admiration as the ball bounced against the floor, flying backward into the wall behind the opponents.

Y/N jumped up in excitement as the rest of the team yelled in enthusiasm, congratulating one another. She looked over her shoulder to see Sugawara and Yamaguchi standing side by side, smiles on both of their faces.

"They did pretty good didn't they?"

Both of the boys looked at you with surprise, turning to face you with another smile.

"Seems like it! We're really starting to connect now." Suga gave a thumbs-up and a close-eyed smile. Yamaguchi nodded, looking around the court once more for his friend.

"Y/N! Did you see my killer receive?" Noya jogged up to you, his hands balled up in fists due to excitement.

You smiled, shadowing his behavior. "Obviously! I thought they were gonna score until you got in the way!" You gave him a fist bump to which he happily returned.

"We'll aren't you two fired up."

You looked over to see Daichi with a reserved smile
on his face, he was slightly sweaty and walking toward you slowly.

"Hey there captain! You had some solid receives too, don't think those went unnoticed." You smiled, giving him a high five.

"Ah, y/n you flatter me! I just have a lot of experience." He chuckled, scratching the back of his head with a grin.

"I meant it when I said I wanted you to teach me how to receive like that, you too Noya! I'd love to learn the 'Rolling Thunder'" You laughed, resulting in Daichi doing the same and Noya yelling with a crimson hue on his face.

Tsukishima went up to Yamaguchi after the last point, grabbing a towel and water from him to drink. He quickly wiped away the sweat on his brow, conversing with the boy until the setter caught his eye.

"If Date Tech wins, we'll have to go up against them. Meaning that your spikes are gonna have to get a whole lot cleaner Hinata!" Kageyama said, crossing his arms.

Hinata nodded, his sweat dropping at the sight of Kageyama's less-than-happy expression.

Tsukishima watched as (h/c) hair swayed across the court, capturing his attention altogether.
