Chapter 23

**Alex's POV**

"Alright Ms.Matthews, you're in good shape! I think you're all ready to go!" the nurse said, helping me sit up. I was in a little bit of pain, but it was just kinda sore and stuff. I looked over at the sleeping angel across the room. He had never left my side once. He was always there. He wasn't awake all the time, but he was there. My friends came and visited me. They had me thinking about something. What if Harry was no different? What if he was like the rest of those guys? I would never know. Something about him is different. He got me to open up more. It's taken me alot to love again. All my past boyfriends had put me in that position. Not willing to trust anyone. I got up slowly, steadied myself, and walked slowly towards the clear plastic bag of my belongings. I grabbed it, and carefully walked to the bathroom. I got changed, and when I walked out, Harry was up, standing at the window. His morning hair all messy and cute. His gray t-shirt hanging loosely on his tall frame, and let me just say that those jeans did wonders for his butt...

"Hey Harry!" I said cheerfully, making my way over to my wonderful boyfriend.

"Hey babe, all set? How you feeling?" he asked me, checking around the room to make sure I had everything.

"Oh I'm fine...just a bit sore, thanks." I said smiling at his polite gesture. There sure is a great big difference between guys from the Bronx, and guys from England...

"That's good. I'll take care of you when we get home okay? It's all about you this week." he said smiling.

"okay...but I don't want you focusing on only me..." I said, blushing at the thought.

"Why not? After all, I have to make sure you're happy" he said smiling. He pulled me into a gentle hug. "Am I hurting you?" he asked, concerned. I laughed at his extreme politeness and shook my head.

"Not at all" and hugged him tighter. We stayed there for a bit, my face nuzzled in his chest, and his head resting on my head. He was alot taller than me. A little less than a foot I'd say. It was silent, the only sound came from the breathing in his chest.

"I have to talk to you about something...it's a bit...awkward id say. I was trying to find the right time to tell you, but then I relaized, there was no good time. Im not sure how you're going to take it" he said, breaking the silence. I pulled away from his grip and look at him.

"You're starting to scare me" I said, looking at his serious expression. "Just tell me. It can't be that bad" I assured him.

"Fine..." he said "You're mother was here".
