The words lingered in the air as everyone turned to Sirius who was visibly shaking with anger

Cygnus raised and eyebrow at him expecting to intimidate him but Sirius equally matched his glare

"Don't you dare call Andromeda a whore she the best thing that happened to this family" Sirius spat

"HOW DARE YOU!!" Cygnus roared getting to his feet

"NO! HOW DARE YOU!! ANDROMEDA WAS THE ONLY SMART ONE IN THIS FAMILY SHE GOT OUT!!"

"AND TURNED INTO A WHORE FOR A FLITY MUDBLOOD IN THE PROCESS!!"

Sirius didn't register what he did next but he did , he gripped his wand pointing it at Cygnus

Walburga got to her feet and moved in Sirius' direction but stopped when Druella grabbed her while Orion darted up the stairs to grab his wand while ushering Regulus upstairs

"What are you going to do boy?? Use an unforgivable?? You don't have the balls!"

Pain was what Sirius felt and Walburga screams with his own filled the air heavy footsteps came into the room

Orion stood with Cygnus' wand in his hand while Walburga crouched next to Sirius

She had used the curiciatus curse on Sirius once when Pollux Black was visiting and a similar situation played out ever since then her relationship with Sirius was never the same

"GET OUT!" Walburga roared making Cygnus scowl at her

"That boy is the biggest disappointment this family has ever had!! He is going to ruin our name!!"

Grabbing a shocked Druella with a pop Cygnus apparated

It had only then dawn on Sirius that he was hit with the torture curse for defending his cousin something only he had done despite the room having fives others in it

He felt hands on his arm and back but flinched away from them and got to his feet swaying as he did

His shirt was damp against his back , his body hurt

"Sirius-

"Mother shut up!"

"Sirius!'' Orion said sternly

"No! No I can't do this anymore!! I am trying to be everything you want me to be but I can't!! I can't use vile terms and look down at people like their nothing!" Sirius said looking at his parents

"Your not trying enough then"

"I HAVE BEEN TRYING ALL ME LIFE TO LIVE UP TO YOUR EXPECTATIONS BUT I CAN'T.........I WON'T!!" Sirius said tears rimming his eyes tears he was holding back , tears he refused to let fall

Orion stood frozen he wanted nothing more than to tell his son it was okay and that even though it's not said he is love and just for a second he saw the same thought flash in Walburga's eyes

One fleeting second

"Then leave" Walburga said coldly looking Sirius in the eye

"You be who your meant to be or leave!!"

Sirius let out a dry chuckle a single tear sliding down his cheek before dragging his bloodied and bruised self up the stairs
