Lily Evans was in her room in Gryffindor tower she was on her bed doing her homework
"Am I the only one who can't see it?" A voice said making her look towards the door
"Mary? Is everything alright?"
"Am I the only one who doesn't see how in love Sirius is with Marlene?"
"Mary....I don't know about love.....but they've always had a spark and honest-
"I shouldn't be with him" Mary said as she wiped away her tears
"Come here"

Sirius found himself in the astronomy tower with a cigarette in his hand......he had to thunk things through he knew he fancied Marlene he always had and the only reason he ever went out with Mary was because he knew it would piss off Marlene
He sighed as he leaned against the railing till he heard footsteps approaching
"Oh gods! Bloody flinch!" Regulus said as and then he turned around before letting put a scream
"You fuckin git! You gave me a bloody heart attack!"
Sirius looked at him before he broke into a fit of laughter
"I literally saw you jumping out of your skin! Oh salazar that was golden!"
Regulus held gis chest as he glared at Sirius
"What are you doing here?"
"Could ask you the same thing"
"I asked first"
"I'm older"
"Doesn't matter"
Both of them stood glaring at each other
"Your a git"
"Funny way of saying you miss me" Sirius said holding out a cigarette
"Who says I do?" Regulus asked taking the cigarette from him before moving to stand next to him
"I do"
They stood in silence over looking the grounds of hogwards
"What would you do if I turned with a kid on your doorstep and said I was on the run?" Sirius asked out of the blue making Regulus frown and look at him
"Did you knock someone up?!" Regulus said smacking the back of Sirius' head
"No salazar! Hypothetically! You didn't have to hit me that hard!"
"Depends.....would you take me kid in?" Regulus asked as he walked to the stairs
"Reg.....I would"
"Then you have your answer"
Sirius sighed as he leaned against the railing atleast he hadn't completely lost Regulus......he made his way back to the common room
When he entered it was rather empty everyone had disappeared to their dorms no doubt.....everyone except Marlene who was sat at a desk writing
He didn't say anything he moved to the sofa and stretched himself out on the sofa.....he looked at her intently as he lit another cigarette
"For Godric's sake!" She huffed turning to face him
"I'm not doing anything!" He said putting his hands up in surrender making her roll her eyes....she moved to sit on the carpet and grabbed a cigarette before looking up at him
Sirius looked at her leaning against the arm he folded behind his head
"Why did everything get so complicated?"
"Just life love"
"Don't! Don't call me love.....not after everything"
"Marls-
"No.....I can't do this with you again"
"Come here" he said softly making space for her on the sofa
"Sirius!''
"Oh for salazar's sake! I just want a cuddle woman.....it's been a long day"
"Don't you take that tone with me Sirius Orion Black the third!" She said as she tossed herself on the sofa next to him
Sirius sighed as she wrapped his arms around her
"Thought you said you wouldn't try anything"
"I did say cuddle"
They'd fallen sleep atleast Marlene did.....Sirius lay watching the fire crackling when he hurt the door open be looked over the edge to see Docras stumbling in
"Where were you?"
"Godric! Damn it Black!" She hissed holding her chest
"Sorry.....but try to be quite"
"You two back together then?" Docras asked eyeing the pair
"No....just friends"
"Um....sure" she said moving to the stairs leading to her dorm
"Sirius?"
"Yea?"
"Could we talk in the morning?"
"Sure"
Docras nodded as she walked away....leaving Sirius holding on to Marlene before he let sleep over come him
