Marlene remembered being pulled into Betty's chest before it went black
Muffled voices turned louder and footsteps
"Marlene!! Marls!! Marlene wake up!"
James and Sirius were knocked out when one of the death eaters fired a killing curse...it was aimed for Fleamont who managed to narrowly miss it resulting in it hitting the giant doors of Potter manor
The rest of the holidays went by quite and everyone found themselves back in kings cross
"Damn how the fuck are we nearly in 6th year" Sirius said as he walked beside James
"Tell me about it......MOONY!!!"
Marlene walked through the crowd with Euphemia while the boys walked ahead
"Another year gone by.....soon you lot will training for your jobs and then you'll be married an- Oh I almost forgot...I made brownies and your mum asked you to write her when you get to school" Euphemia said to the group mostly Marlene as they came to a stop
"Thanks Mum......see you in the summer" James said kissing her cheek and trying to grab the box of brownies from her
"Nice try.....Marlene your in charge" Euphemia said and handed the box to Marlene while Mason tried to justify him being in charge
Sirius looked across the station and the first thing he saw were eyes mirroring his own
Walburga looked away before placing a kiss on Regulus' cheek before appearing away
"Padfoot!! Get on ya bloke!!" Peter yelled getting his attention
The journey to hogwards was the usual.....Marlene walked backed towards the Gryffindor compartment after visiting the sweets cart in the Hufflepuff compartment
Marlene walked past the Slytherin compartment but stopped as she approached the Ravenclaw compartment......specifically the bathroom because she heard grunts and moans that indicated one thing
Marlene like every other inquisitive , gossip chasing teenage stood behind the door of the Ravenclaw compartment peeping through the blinds pulled over the tiny glass window
The bathroom door opened and Lena Nott stumbled out giggling while trying to comb her untamed hair while pulling on her Slytherin robes
"This is rather scandalous....given recent events" she said with a chuckle
"Would you rather it be Mulicber??" A muffled voice questioned
Marlene's eyed widened when the next person stepped out a blonde Hufflepuff Rose McLaggen who looked very disheveled and red in the face
"I should go" Rose said looking back into the stall
"Byeee" Lena said waving
Marlene quickly ducked into the first compartment as the door opened and Rose walked passed
"I think we traumatized her" Lena said chuckling making Marlene's eyes widen even more
"You enjoyed it"
"I quite enjoy our little sneaking about.....though I prefer if it's just the two of us"
Marlene peeked through the blinds again only to see Lena flush against Sirius who was pushed up against the wall
"I told you-
"You don't do relationships" Lena said kissing his neck
"Not entirely I'd compromise"
"Right McKinnon"
"No....we're done....she was a good fuck though"
"Better than me??"
Marlene didn't wait around to hear the rest before running through the Ravenclaw compartment and to her seat in the Gryffindor compartment
"Marls...what's wrong??" Docras asked as Marlene tossed the sweets she bought onto the seat
"Nothing" she said with a smile before sitting down next to a sleeping Lily Evans
Docras gave her an unconvinced look but didn't push her any futher

Two weeks had gone by really fast and Marlene found herself avoiding everyone
While a party raged on at the Gryffindor common room.....but Marlene for herself outside the common room up against the wall with Tristan Brown a seventh year Gryffindor
"You know McKinnon....I didn't think you were the type...yet here we are"
Marlene giggled as Tristan placed kisses along her jaw
"Well there's a lot you don't know about me Brown"
"Well I would love to-
Tristan was pulled off of her and pushed onto the opposite wall
"WHAT THE FUC-
"JAMES!!!"
"Marlene are you okay??" Remus asked standing beside her
"Ye-
Smack
A loud crack echoed through the corridor
"SIRIUS!!!" The group collectively shouted
"Get out of here Brown!" He yelled before grabbing Marlene's wrist and dragging her towards the common room the marauders following
"Let me go!!!" Marlene yelled pulling her hand away
"What the hell is wrong with you??!"
"With me??! You just knocked out a seventh year for absolutely no reason!!"
"He was all over you!!" Sirius yelled turning to face her
"What's it you huh?? It's not like we're together!!"
"Sorry if I was fuckin worried about you! Tristan Brownhad up against the fuckin wall and he a really swell reputation Yeah??"
Marlene scoffed and rolled her eyes
"What's it to you who I fuck??or have you gotten bored of Nott yet??! Need a good fuck??! Maybe you should try Mclaggen......she seemed like it was good fun!!"
"That's no-
"Save it Black....you know despite house distinction.....us girls share lavatories"
James frowned looking between the two
"Wait I'm...you lost me What does Nott and Mclaggen have to do with this??" Remus asked
"Ask Mr. Threesome!!! Why don't you!!" Marlene yelled before going climbing through the door leaving the marauders in the corridor by themselves
"Prongs let me exp-
James shook his head before he walked through the door
"Moony"
"Give it a moment Padfoot.....now if you excuse me I have some people to kick out" Remus said walking into the portrait leaving behind Sirius
