Marlene could only nod in response as she moved away from the stairwell

"Look I know I was....am a bitch and I overreacted to the whole thing and I'm sorry"

Marlene looked at Lily who gave a slight smile

"I understand if you don't want to talk to me anymore but I just wanted to say I'm sorry"

When she didn't get a response Lily nodded in understanding and walked towards the common room door

"You were jealous weren't you??"

"No....maybe- I don't know"

"You like him don't you??"

"Wha- no

"Lily it's clear to everyone"

"Okay I do but it's nothing serious he's just not as bad as I thought he was" Liky said sheepishly

"Well if it's any help tosi and him broke up too"

"I'm sorry about what I said about Sirius too......you seem happy together and I was being a bitch"

Marlene was in the marauders dorm , James was called to assist at Quittich tryouts,  Remus was in the library and Peter and frank were by the lake with Alice

Marlene sat at the desk by the widow and was writing a letter to her mother when there was a tap on the window

A owl , completely black with eyes that were the lightest shade of gray almost   white stared at her through the glass

Marlene was mesmerized by the bird she'd never seen anything like it before

"Mar?"

Marlene jumped three feet in the air and turned around as Sirius walked out the bathroom towel around his shoulders as he used it to dry his hair and shirtless

Shirtless Sirius was not a new thing for Marlene but it never failed to impress her

Sirius looked at Marlene and smirked knowing he made her jump

"You o- when did it get here??" He asked moving to the window

"Few minutes.......it's beautiful" Marlene mumbled as she watched the owl climb onto Sirius' shoulder while it handed him a letter

"His name's Sreech my mother's owl"

"They don't or atleast not as a large number........the Black family is originally from France and according to family history Sirius the first was the the first person to come to London and when he did he was lost he didn't know the language and didn't know where to go either as he wandered through the streets a owl appeared and lead him to the sea side where he found fellow Frenchman and where the original Black Manor is located.......
After that for every generation of Black's an owl appears an owl that's as black as night with eyes a frightening white"
