Marlene fussed over everything that happened the whole of the day before, it was a little after noon and he could hear her shuffling about in the kitchen,  sirius knew that it was because she was excited to see her family

It always haunted him the thought of what he would do if was ever in the same room as his family again......would he cry? Would he crumble? Would he tell them to fuck themselves and show them how happy he is.....it always haunted him

"Marls......I'm gonna be headed for awhile I'll meet you at your parents house?" He said as he walked up behind her wrapping his arms around her

"Anything I should be worried about?" She asked raising an eyebrow at him

"Not that you should be worried but......the person I'm meeting is probably your biggest rival"

"Ohh are they?"

Sirius nodded and placed a kiss on her cheek

"I'm going to meet James" he said as he cupped her cheek, his thumb stroking her cheek as he looked into her eyes

"Well I think James would say I've already won.....considering I got you"

"You have me baby.......yesterday, today and every day after that"

"You promise?"

"Always, love" he said as he kissed her

"Look marls......I really need you to think about Narcissa's offer"

"Siri-

"No marls I mean it!"

"And I told you! I'm not going to leave in the middle of a fuckin war!! I'm not leaving the order!! I'm not leaving James and lily!! Merlin! Harry, Remus, Pete, Doc!! I cannot leave them!! I can't leave you!!"

"You won't be leaving us Marl-

"Then what will I be doing huh?! What will I be doing?!" Marlene yelled and took a deep breath

"Marls-

"You should go......James' is probably waiting for you"  Marlene said before turning her back to him

"Yea.....I don't want to fight.....I'll see you tonight okay?" He said with a sigh before wrapping his arms around her

"Okay"  she said turning around in his arms

"I love you"

"I love you more" she said with a smile

"No chance" he said kissing her before walking toward the door

"I'll see you tonight! Don't be late Sirius Black!"

"I promise" he said smirking at her before leaving

"Don't make promises you can't keep Sirius" she said softly

Sirius stood in an alley leaned against the wall as he sighed looking at his watch when a loud pop sounded behind him

"Fuck! I'm sorry Pads! Harry was extra fussy today that made lily fussy then I was fussy and it was this whole- Damn! I haven't seen you in like two weeks and your looking like a fucking rockstar while I look like a-a-

"A middle aged dad who's rasing three kids and hasn't slept in weeks-

"Thanks mate! Thanks for that"

"No mention prongs I got you! Also you have some apple sauce on you- let me get it"
