Sirius groaned as she followed Marlene around their living room
"C'mon Marls!! There must be something we can say!"
"Sirius my parents are having us over for dinner and we will be present that's final!"
"Yea but you- your brothers will all be there just waiting to rip into me!" He said with a sigh before flopping onto the sofa
"They will not!! If they want to have a go at you they have to go through me!" She said as she sat down beside him when a owl tapped on the window
"I haven't seen that owl before" Marlene said
"I have" Sirius mumbled as he got to his feet and opened the window
"Is it a letter??"
"Yes"
"Well who's it from?"
"Don't worry about it" he mumbled as he walked passed her to the bedroom leaving her and the gorgeous white owl looking at each other
"Right! A treat then" she said as she grabbed some and walked up to it
Marlene took her time looking the owl over, it was a snow white owl which had two streaks of black running down its back
Marlene couldn't help but chuckle the owl reminded her of Narcissa Malfoy, she tapped its head before it flew off
Sirius walked back into the room with his jacket tossed over his shoulders before grabbing his bike keys
"Where are you going?"
"Don't worry about it okay.....I won't be long" he mumbled as he walked out the door leaving Marlene stood alone in their living room
Marlene sighed as she walked over to the bedroom and grabbed her quill and paper

Sirius pulled his put over his head as he walked through Knockturn Alley, keeping his head down as he walked into the pub
He made his was to the back and sat down at the table after a moment a cloaked figure approached him
"Cissa"
"Sirius.........I didn't think you would show up"
"And why would I deprive you the opportunity of meeting with me" he said with a smirk that she returned
"I want to say sorry before we-
"He's gone Cissa......end of discussion that's nothing else to be said" he said in a low voice making her nod in response as a waitress walked up to their table
"Firewhiskey, two glasses" Narcissa said
"So it's that kind of a talk" Sirius mumbled earning a glare from his cousin as two glasses flew over to their table
"What's going on Cissa? Why did you want to meet?"
"Has my reputation truly become me? That my little cousin truly believes I'm a cold hearted bitch?" She asked with a raised brow taking a sip from her glass
"Cold hearted? No.....Bitch, definitely" he replied with a chuckle
"I'm scared Sirius about this war.....his power is growing and i think you should leave!! I'm leaving for Italy come sunday come with me!! Bring your girlfriend too!! And before you start it's only me and Draco.....Lucius and I aren't on talking terms" she said softly
"What trouble in paradise?"
"Something like that......but this isn't about that......Sirius please come with me! I can't lose you too" she said grabbing his hand
"Cissa......your not going to lose me......but you should go, get away from here don-
"Sirius I'm not leaving the war I could never do that! I'm going to Italy to leave my son there, there is a very real chance that neither lucius nor I are walking away from this.....I'm simply extending my offer to you" she said
The pair sat in silence for a heartbeat before Sirius spoke
"How's the kid?" Sirius asked taking a sip from his glass
"Draco.....Draco is fine" she said softly as she finished her drink
"Surprising how your git of a husband let you keep family traditions alive"
"Well you'll have your own opportunity to keep those traditions alive" she said as she pulled the hood over her head
"What? What does that mean?"
Narcissa's eyes widened the slightest as she looked at him
"You don't know?"
"Know what? What are you talking about?"
"Fuck! Sirius I thought you would have known"
"Known what?! Narcissa you better start talking!" He hissed grabbing her wrist
"I saw your girlfriend in Tabby Hunter's shop in Diagon Alley-
"That's doesn't mean anything" he said with a scoff
"Siri-
"She could have been there for anything!"
"Sirius! You know why she was there!" Narcissa spat and Sirius sighed before letting go of her hand
"No no she would have told me if i-
"Look calm down! It was a month ago-
"A month ago!?!" Sirius' brows frowned as he looked at her and just for a moment Narcissa saw that young boy who would glare daggers at her Aunt
"Look maybe she needed time.....it's not easy to just come out and say something like that" she said softly grabbing his hand in hers
"Think about it Sirius! If not you then atleast get her out! Do right by her!" she said before getting to her feet and kissing his cheek before walking to the door
Narcissa couldn't help the feeling of dread that crept into her as she walked away from Sirius, something told her that it was probably the last time she would be in the same room as him
