Paul had to close his ears, feeling as though he was being deafened by the thousands of joyful screams from civilians who flooded the streets. The Omega was sat next to Mike in a carriage made of pure gold, which was being dragged along by two beautiful white horses. Thousands of people lined the streets excitedly, waving all different flags of Rotherham in the air, the sun reflecting off them. It was a glorious sight to see.

It really was almost completely overwhelming, and he could feel his palms getting sweatier and sweatier. He had no idea why, this was not his coronation, if anyone should be this nervous and overwhelmed, it should be Mike. But when Paul looked over to Mike he seemed over the moon, waving to the crowds ecstatically through the window close to him.

"You don't seem nervous... However so?" Paul asked curiously, tilting his head to the side.

"Paul..." Mike spoke, tone shakey and breath heavy. He turned to face his older brother, a smile that was clearly forced now upon his face. "I am shitting bricks..."

The two bursted out into fond chuckles at Mike's silly expression, though there was a serious hint of nerves laced in their joy. To complete strangers they just looked like crazy people, but neither minded. The conversation had added a small layer of relaxation to their emotions.

As the Chapel appeared in close sight, the screams somehow got louder, and Paul had to cover his ears.

"Good luck, brother!" Paul shouted to the boy next to him over the screams, hands still covering his ears. Mike had mirrored him.

"Thank you!" Mike called back, luckily able to lip read the Omega.

The two embraced in a short hug, before the doors to both sides of the carriage opened in sync. On either side an Alpha stood to help the boys out, offering a hand to each of them. Paul lifted his cape as he stepped down and out of the golden nest, staring blissfully out into the mass of people. A smile appeared on his face as he waved to them, only exciting them and causing the screams to get louder.

"Your Highness..." A low voice from next to him addressed him, it was the Alpha who had helped him out from the car.

Paul smiled and nodded at the Alpha, who was now offering Paul his arm to link. Paul linked him, and the Alpha led him around to the other side of the carriage where he let the Omega go and fall into the company of two young girls, around thirteen. They reminded him of young Julia and Jackie, brown hair to their shoulders and white ribbons in their hair. They each wore dark blue dresses that landed just above their ankles. They seemed sweet, one holding a dark red bouquet of roses and the other taking the end of Paul's cape in her hands.

Mike was now stood four steps infront of him, as two Alpha's in black suits placed a red and dark blue shaul over his broad shoulders. Four teenage Omega's, newly presented, stood behind him, holding the long train in their own hands.

Paul moved a few steps forward to that he was at the same level as Mike, and braced himself for the walk.

The two made their way, in sync, up the five steep steps, reaching the top and waiting on the other end of the door. When the door finally flew open, the national anthem of Rotherham immediately blared throughout the old, echoey hall.

There was no going back now, Mike was very soon to be the new King of Rotherham. And everyone was watching.

As soon as the anthem ended, all invited persons took their seats once more, their eyes staying focused on the new King and Paul who began to walk in sync down the aisle. Their pace was slow, but not too slow, and John was amazed by how the Omegas and young girls that were following the two could keep up so well. He would never have been able to keep such a pace as a child.
