Bang

Everyone who had remained in the Chapel screamed loudly at that dreaded noise, the noise of the loud gunshot echoing through the old walls and stained glass windows.

As soon as he had shot the gun, Daniel gasped in horror, slowly backing up and the gun fell to the ground as he placed his hands over his face. He seemed in shock at his own actions. Just two seconds later, ten army men surrounded the shooter, four tackling him to the ground and six yelling for him to put his hands in the air and pointing their own guns at him. But he had still won.

"Mimi!" John cried out, attention solely focused on the woman on the ground. He didn't care about the man being cuffed and dragged away behind him.

But Mimi was bleeding, bad.

"Christ..." He whispered out in terror, voice cracking in sadness at the sight of her. She was lay on the ground, blood pouring from her chest. "Fuck... Fuck Mimi..." John cursed out, not knowing what to do other than crouch on the round next to her.

She had been shot... Right infront of him, and she was on the ground... She was dying.

"Here..." Paul rushed out, voice also shakey at what he had just witnessed. The Omega had untied his cloak, dropping it to the floor and taking off his blazer. He handed it to John, who was kneeling on the ground beside his aunt. "Apply pressure."

"Paul's right..." Martin rushed out, one of the many family members gathered around the woman, all gasping in shock.

John took the jacket immediately, scrunching it up and leaning over to where her wound was, the blood staining her dress. She seethed a little, the pressure taking her aback.

"John..." Mimi tried her best to get out.

"The nurses will be here soon, Mimi..." John spoke out, trying not to sob. His voice was terribly weak.

"John... Paul..."

John acted like he hadn't heard her ill words, continuing his own conversation with her.

"They have been notified Mimi... They will be here soon..." He repeated, trying to convince himself of that too. "Just hold on and we can talk about this all when we get home..."

"John, P-Paul..." She spoke out, voice quiet and fragile. She was clearly in so much pain and John hated this.

He hated Daniel!

"I am s-so sorry..." She managed to speak, barely. Her eyes were open, and she was staring almost lifelessly at John.

At her apology, John finally snapped out of his reassuring script. He had not forgot what Mimi had admitted to, God how could he?! But... But she was dying. She was his auntie and she was dying, right in front of them.

A cry was heard from behind John, and he knew it had come from Victoria.

"Paul..." She spoke, trying her best to stare at the boy while addressing him, but she found it hard. "I can't explain my e-evil... I was awful. I don't e-expect you to forgive me... I am sorry. You were nothing b-but nice, and I wasted your kindness. My punishment is what I deserve."

"Mimi..." Paul whimpered out, before letting out a single cry. He raised his right hand to his mouth. "It takes a strong Alpha to admit their wrongs... But you don't deserve this." Paul couldn't think of anything else to say, but he did say what he meant.

In that moment, he was not angry or mad... Just upset.

"Paul's right, you don't deserve this. So if you hold on then we can make you better." He gave the Queen a small smile, that was clearly faked to give her reassurance. There was sadness behind his eyes.
