DOUXIE CASPERAN

Steve was decked out in armor, Claire in some sort of handmaiden dress, and I was wearing my old apprentice outfit. They had already went out their separate ways, I was still waiting for Angelique. My plan was simple, knock out my former self and then have Angelique get the time map while I pretended to be past me. Shouldn't be too hard.

The door creaked open and Angelique walked out, her attire was like a mix between a coat and a dress that was navy green. Instead of her normal black converse she wore combat boots. Her black hair was pulled up in a ponytail, her necklace was still on and for some reason she had her blades back, clipped on her hips.

(These are the combat boots.)

"Im not sure if combat boots are what you call less modern." I said

She shrugged, "I'll be fine."

"Hopefully Sir Lancelot won't notice that your weapons are missing."

"He probably forgot."

"Well then, follow me."

We walked through the corridors, centuries away from Camelot and I still knew my way around almost anywhere. I stopped Angelique at the edge of the door.

Past-Merlin was scolding past-me, "Hisirdoux, do you have feet for hands? All the Slorr juice?"

"Sorry sir." said past-Douxie, "I was just trying to save time."

I looked at my past self's man bun, "Ugh, that hair was a mistake."

I heard Angelique quietly laughing, "I think it looks cute." I looked away to hide flushing on my cheeks.

I groaned, "I remember this."

"Your cutting corners has only cost me time." I said in unison with past-Merlin, "It's hard enough creating Arthur's new weapon without your mucking about. I need you in the workshop and you're milking the Slorr." Then he turned around and left.

I beckoned her to follow me, "Aren't you gonna turn invisible?"

"I'd rather not waste my energy."

"Well here's hoping this doesn't break the time-space continuum."

Angelique grabbed my wrist, "Wait, what about the time paradox?"

"Don't worry I got this."

I grabbed my past-self and covered his mouth to prevent screaming. Angelique grabbed Archie and set him down. I let past-me go, "Uh, hey, me."

Past-me yelped, "Aah! Doppelgänger!"

He pointed a finger at me, "You- you're me. I'm me!"

"No need to panic."
