ANGELIQUE LE

Morgana bursted forward and Douxie looked up just in time to block her magic with his own.

He skidded to a stop and pushed her off. Morgana rose into the air a permanent scowl on her face.

"Well, this is technically an 'axe'." he said jokingly and I groaned.

"Hisirdoux, this is no time for dreadful music!" Merlin scolded as he played a riff while dodging her repeated attacks.

"Dreadful?" he asked.

"Absolutely infernal." Morgana said.

"Gods above! Why don't you cut off my ears while you're at it?" I yelled. For once me, Morgana, and Merlin seemed to agree on something.

"No worries, this is just the opening track!" he shouted sliding on his knees.

He's in the middle of a fight and he decides it's a good time to start playing electric guitar.

"What do you hope to do? Blow out our eardrums?" Merlin told him.

"Well, pardon me if this rock is too freakin' awesome for your medieval sensibilities!" using his magic he jumped onto a hanging rock chandelier so that he was level with Morgana and did his signature rock symbol.

"Enough of your noise!" Morgana's staff glowed with a golden light.

But Douxie was ready, he struck his guitar once and his own projection of blue magic clashed with Morgana's.

Douxie stopped smiling, his air of confidence wavering as the golden magic threatened to take over, "And... nope. Plan B."

He jumped down and met Morgana again, striking and blocking. I made a reminder to train him on hand to hand combat and melee fighting. Honestly, where's the strategy? The feints?

Douxie threw his guitar and Morgana was momentarily distracted as she watched it start to boomerang back but he couldn't conjure his sigil in time. She caught his wrist and threw him to the floor. His guitar skidded to a stop beside him.

Yeah, I should probably intervene. However I only took a step before a golden rope caught me and tied up, suspending me 3 feet from the stone floor. Morgana's magic.

"Shit." I breathed.

I realized that Douxie now had a cut on his left cheek.

Morgana barely gave him time to recover. He put up his own blast of magic at the last moment.

She grunted and her magic surged forward pushing him against the stone wall. Where is that black cat when we need him?

"Do not fret, Merlin. You'll find a new apprentice to replace him. Are people not dispensable, after all?" Morgana said.

Just as I remembered that I could use my powers with just my mind, help was already on the way. Archie flew in with a plume of fire at Morgana who lost her concentration. The staff of Avalon flew to it's master. Merlin freed me with a wave of his staff.

"Archie!" Douxie said in relief.

With Morgana focused on killing Merlin now, Douxie stretched out his hand with his charm bracelet.

"Arch, light me!" he said.

With the cat's fire and his own magic combined a circle of blue fire surrounded her. Douxie jumped through it unharmed. Once the fire dispersed I could see that Morgana was frozen in his blue magic.

"Hurry! I can't hold her that long!" he said his voice strained.

"You've lost yourself, Morgana!" Merlin's staff tapped onto the floor, green markings started to cover the stone, "Bound to dark magic. I have no choice but to seal you away! Sigilia infractum!"
