Chapter 4 : Break Even

            After partying that night, the members went back to their normal daily routine. Schedules back to back kept them busy and preoccupied and not dwell on un pleasant issues. Junkyu, miraculously survived the week after the break up, having a jam packed schedule helped him a lot too. Haruto didn't further tried to text more or tried to reach him again since the last "I'm sorry " text.

Jae on the other hand couldn't keep his guilt anymore. It has been eating him up more and more each day. He finally decided to pay Junkyu a visit after he called his Boyfriend and let him know of his plan to tell Junkyu everything. Asahi was adamant at first, but later understood the burden that Jae had, being the only one who knew about Haruto from the start.

Jae looked for ways to know Junkyu's schedule. When he confirmed one day that Junkyu will be free, he immediately decided to pay him a visit personally at his place. No better place to talk about sensitive matters than his own private home.

Junkyu was just lounging on the sofa watching random shows on TV when his doorbell rang. He found it odd since he didn't remember having an expected guest at this hour and day. If any of the members or his family decided to come, they surely knew the passcode already.

He just lazily dragged his feet to peek at the monitor who was his unexpected visitor. When he saw Jae's face, he was surprised since Jae knew the passcode too. Wearing a frown on his face, he press the open button to unlock the door. Jae slowly enter his house which cause a deeper frown on Junkyu's face.

With questioning eyes he interrogated the guest. "Boowyaa? Why didn't u just open the door yourself and you really have to force me to stand up?"

Seeing the younger guy seemed distress and not in the mood to ride on his teasing, Junkyu lead Jae to the couch to sit.

"What's wrong Jae? Do you have any problems?" Kyu started questioning him when he sat still and looked like having a mental battle with himself, how he would start.

"Is it Asahi? Are you and Asahi ok?" kyu insisted on questioning him.

"N-no hyung, Asahi and I are fine. We're good. It's not about Asahi why I am here." Jae finally started his intention of his visit.

"I'm here hyung cause I couldn't take it anymore. I hope you will listen to me until the end first before you drive me away and hate me", Jae was on the verge of breaking down now.

"You're making me nervous Jae. What is it about? It's about Haru.... Is it?" Junkyu slowly brought up his suspicions. When the other guy stayed mum and looking down avoiding his eyes, Junkyu knew he was right.

"Asahi knew all along where Haruto was all the time. He was the only one who knew of what's going on with Ruto since his sudden changes a few months ago."

Junkyu remained silent, trying to absorb everything Jae shared. "It started last Summer, during his modelling Project with a Brazilian Model in Paris. I don't know exactly what happened , but according to Asahi, Haruto visited him the night he arrived from Paris. He confessed to him that he accidentally hooked up with his model partner the night of their wrap up party. He sounded remorseful that time. He felt guilty and asked Asahi if he's going to tell you or not." Junkyu's breath hitched feeling the tightness of his chest upon hearing the details of Haruto's affair.

"According to him, he was so drunk that night that he lost control when the girl took the initiative to hook up with him." Jaehyuk paused to check on Junkyu's reaction. Seeing the silence of the older guy, he then continued. "Asahi, being rational, asked him if how he feels towards his co model, if he felt attracted now and if compared to his feelings for you. Asahi just wanted to make sure Haruto had the ability to really evaluate his honest feelings towards himself and his relationship to people around him. Not to defend him because he's my boyfriend but you know he's right hyung. Haruto just explored the world outside Treasure. Asahi felt Haruto was in the stage of late Identity crisis knowing he himself felt the need to reevaluate our own relationship." Jaehyuk decided to reveal their own story to make Junkyu see the point he's trying to convey.
