I had turned just in time. An angel had taken me by surprise. I had to zoom out of the corridor to the stairs before the Angels got me from either side for not looking at them. One of them were bound to move when I looked away.
I got up the stairs and looked for a way to get the Doctor out of the room below. Then, I heard the banging again. I thought that it had come from the floor I was on before but I was wrong. It was coming from one of the rooms on the second floor. They got louder and louder as I walked down the corridor.
I came to a room near the end of the narrow. I quietly opened the door to the room. The banging stopped. I only opened the door slightly to peek inside. In the room there were two angels that were facing away from me. They didn't move because they heard me open the squeaky door. In front of the angels was a safe. The Weeping Angels wanted to get inside of it but they obviously had no combination for it. That was why I could hear a banging sound. I closed the door again, making sure that it was closed so the angels couldn't get to me without me hearing.
I walked further down to the end of the floor and opened what I thought was the door to the room above from where the Doctor was. "Doctor!" I called.
"I'm still here!" He said back. The floors weren't that thick so I could hear him under my feet. I stomped my feet to get his attention. "I'm up here."
"Good! There is an opening on the ceiling here but on the floor you're standing on. Could you get that open?" I moved a rug that was covering the floor boards and easily opened the opening. The Doctor climbed up and we were back together again.
"I've found the source of the banging." I said.
"Oh good. What is it?" The Doctor asked.
"It's the angels. They must of tried to open this safe that was on the floor in this room." I pointed to the room with the angels in. The Doctor looked through the key hole that was there but the angels weren't there. "The angels have gone." The Doctor opened the door and looked around the room for a combination for the safe. I helped to but there was nothing. "Aha!" The Doctor cheered. He had found a combination for the safe. He bent down, put in the combination on the safe door and opened it. His eyes widened. "Whoever put these in here had a weird idea." He pulled out a gun and explosives. "So they will get rid of the angels?" I asked.
"Maybe and probably us in the process. The angels will not let us leave. They obviously wanted to get rid of these so no one could get kill the angels." There was also a note in the safe. I picked it up and read it out. It said:
"To whoever is unfortunate enough to step foot in this mansion. I cannot get rid of the angels and my time is running out. The angels will not leave until they have finished their job. They mean to kill us and I have no idea why. They come when you can't see them and in the darkness. I have put these in here for an emergency, just in case the angels become more vicious. They can now lock and unlock doors which gives them an advantage. They can kill you with just one touch or in one blink of your eyes. They have already killed a number of people and I am next. Please keep everyone out of here! I have never found a way to kill the angels but they are stone and I hope that whoever gets hold of this letter will find out and stop anymore deaths from happening. I can hear them. They are coming for me. Please take note of this letter and keep away from the mansion."
"How can the angels be defeated?" I asked, looking up at the Doctor.
"No idea. Nothing can really destroy the angels."
