"What was that?" I asked.

"A Weeping Angel." The man answered. "Before I answer more questions I want to ask you some. Who are you?"

"Lucy. You?"

"I'm the Doctor. Where am I?"

"In an abandoned mansion." The Doctor's eyes lit up.

"I like abandoned places!" I looked at him oddly. "How do we get out? I think it's time for you to go."

"The only way out now is the back door."

"Great! Lets go then." I followed the Doctor into the living room.

The living room looked old fashioned. It still had all of it's furniture untouched. There was two chairs and a sofa, a book cabinet, drawers, an old television and a window with ripped curtains hanging down from above it. This room still had the candles and the lanterns lit. "This place must be old. Is this where you kids hang around these days?" The Doctor questioned.

"Not likely." I laughed. "People have been known to go missing when they come in here. I only came in here for a dare and when I got in the door locked behind me."

"I think we found why people go missing." I guessed that he was talking about the angel. We examined the room for a minute and then heard another crash coming from upstairs. The Doctor got a torch out and flashed it at the ceiling.

"Just carry on walking Lucy." I did as I was told and walked towards the kitchen.

The kitchen looked totally different to the living room. It was modern looking with white cabinets, an oven, a microwave and other kitchen accessories. There was a light on the ceiling that was on so the Doctor turned off his torch. The room was quite large and at the other end of it was the back door. "Ah ha! Here we go." The Doctor went straight for the door knob. It twisted with a squeak. As the door opened it quickly slammed shut. The Doctor had to move his fingers quick otherwise they could have got chopped clean off. I had a weird feeling that the angels had something to do with it and, with the worried look he had, I knew the Doctor knew that too. "Lucy, get into the living room." He whispered. I obeyed.

I quietly walked into the living room. I turned back to face the kitchen where the Doctor was sonicing the lock. This time, it wasn't unlocking. Something powerful must have locked it so strongly that no one else could unlock it. The Doctor was still trying to unlock the back door but he was grunting angrily showing that he couldn't do anything to open the door. But there was no angel near the room as far as I could see. There were no other doors apart from the back door.

Suddenly, the Doctor let out a surprised yell. I walked back into the kitchen, looked at the door and saw an angel looking through the clear glass. It's beady eyes looked into ours. "Don't look at it's eyes but whatever you do, don't blink with your own." The Doctor warned again. "Just, slowly walk backwards into the living room." We slowly moved back, keeping our eyes on the angel. As we entered the living room, the light in the kitchen started to turn on and off. "Doctor, what's happening?" I asked.

"The angel! It's messing with the light. It's making the kitchen dark so we can't see it when it moves." He replied. Just as the Doctor said, the angel moved closer with every bit of darkness. It wouldn't have been able to go further than the living room because the candles and lanterns were making the room light, or so we thought. The light sources in the living room started to flicker as well! I turned to face the entrance and, to my surprise, the angel from the closet had unlocked the door and started to move towards us. "Doctor, the angel from the closet! It's getting closer!" I yelled. It got closer and closer until the Doctor had an idea. "Grab my torch." He said, putting his hand containing the torch behind his back. I grabbed it and shone it on the Weeping Angel that was in front of me. Finally, it stopped moving but we weren't safe still. The angel from the kitchen had made it's way to the living room and stopped dead still as the lights stopped flickering. "Keep your eyes in your angel. Move forwards towards the stairs in the entrance way but keep the torch on the angel." I moved forward, keeping the torch on the angel as the Doctor said. When we got to the stairs, the Doctor grabbed my hand and rushed us up to the first floor. The floor where the banging came from.
