I stopped crying after and smelt something familiar. Next to me was James' jacket that he gave me. No, that wasn't the smell I was smelling. It was a natural scent. It was so familiar that it made me want to cry more. "Are you alright?" A posh voice asked. I turned to see a tall blonde woman in her twenties. She was wearing a long purple dress and had her hair flowing down her back. "I'm fine miss." I lied. I wiped the tears from my eyes, stood up and faced the woman. "I'm quite alright." I started to walk away when the woman grabbed my arm.
"No you're not. You can talk to me about it."
"I don't feel comfortable talking to a stranger. You have no idea how much I shouldn't be here."
"Yes I do and I'm not a stranger." The woman lost her posh accent and smiled at me. How did I not notice it before. "It's me Kayla, ten years older." She pulled me into a hug.
Kayla took me back to her house. It was massive for one person, as I thought. "I live here with my husband and two daughters in case you're wondering." She laughed. Just then, two small girls came running into the room. One was a three year old and the other was four. They looked so much like Kayla. "Lucy, meet May, my youngest, and Jane." I waved at them and they shyly waved back. This made me and Kayla giggle. "Go on girls. Go and play." They ran back off and me and Kayla were left alone again. "After I was sent back in time, a nice family took me in. I met a man called John when I was twenty and we fell in love. I must admit I was pretty depressed because I couldn't see you lot again but I was ready to start my new life here. I had Jane when I was twenty-one and May when I was twenty-two." She explained. "How about you?"
"We had left Alisha's house and the angels were trying to attack other people on the streets and in their homes. We went in the opposite direction to where they were going but when we went to look I got sent back." I said. I held back my tears because I wanted to stay strong. She pulled me into another hug.
After a while the front door opened and a young, handsome man walked in who I guessed was John. "Hello Kayla dear. Who is this?" He asked.
"This is Lucy. She's an old friend." Kayla answered. John was looking at me weirdly and I realized that I was in my 21st Century clothing. "John, dear. I was hoping that Lucy could stay with us. Her parents have sadly passed and she has nowhere else to go. I'm the closest thing she has to family."
"Of course." John walked away and I could tell that he wasn't quite fond of me.
"He'll get used to you. Promise."

I feel like I'm losing a few views now than before.
