James was currently watching a episode of "That Time I was Reincarnated as a Slime" while walking down the street. Due to him not paying attention while crossing the road he ended up getting struck by a moving truck.
He was taking his final breaths...
When I reached my destination I see Rimuru already waiting bellow the tree on the hill so I just drop next to him.
Rimuru: "Oh hey Vendela, I assume you feel them as well?" he asks me.
Vendela: "Yes, the individual is powerful, probably considerably stronger them me currently," I say while picking up the slime in my arms.
Before he can respond a pink light smashes in front of us and starts a tiny tornado for a few seconds before clearing to reveal the pink haired demon lord.
Milim: "I am the demon lord Milim Nava, the one and only dragonoid, also known as the destroyer," she says with her hands on her hips.
Rimuru: "H-Hi I'm Rimuru, the leader of this town," he says nervously.
Vendela: "Hello there I am Vendela, the guardian of this land," I say while she pokes Rimuru.
Milim: "I see you both are the strongest members of this forest, especially you Vendela. But I remember Rimuru being in a humanoid form when he fought Gelmud, was that a transformation?" she asks.
Rimuru then jumps out of my arms and transforms, now standing next to me and facing Milim.
Rimuru: "This what you were referring to?" he asks.
Milim: "Yep!" she responds while observing his human form.
Vendela: "If you don't mind me asking, what business do you have in our forest?" I ask her.
Milim: "Business? I just came to introduce myself to the leader and the fifth true dragon," she says like that was obvious.
We didn't even get the chance to respond because the kijin and Ranga jumped in to attack Milim and I could feel some of my dragonewts about to join in as well.
Vendela: 'Do not interfere. We are not in danger but do stand by,' I think to them all.
Dragonewts: 'Yes mistress,' they respond
Due to me stopping my subordinates interference the interaction was pretty much the same except I pulled back the kijin after there attacks failed. Once Rimuru gave her honey I was able to repair the damage done to the land by using my aura again, a very useful ability.
Once they had the demon lord conversation and Milim demanded to see tempest we were heading straight there, once we reached the gate though...
Gabiru: "Hello beloved, lord Rimuru. Who is this little girl?" he asks while getting I'm Milim's face. Before she could hit him though, a few of the dragonewts I had on standby jumped Gabiru and are beating his senseless.
Dragonewt 1: "You shall never speak to our mistress like that again," she says while stomping on him.
Dragonewt 2: "Filth like you is lucky enough to be able to address her at all," he says while kicking him.
Dragonewt: 3: "And to top it off you disrespect our mistresses family, show lady Milim some respect!" she says while punching him.
All the monsters on the road just stare at what's happening with sweat dropping from there brows. After about a minute of this I decide to end it.
Vendela: "My dear dragonewts, I believe he has learned his lesson for now," I say to them sweetly.
The dragonwets immediately stoppered and kneeled before me.
Dragonewts: "Yes mistress," they the proceeded to head back to our town.
After a moment of awkward silence Milim decided to ask what was on everyone's minds.
Milim: "Could you explain what that was all about and how were family," she asked confused.
Vendela: "Oh all of that? Well once i told my subordinates about my being Veldora's daughter they started worshipping me like a goddess," I explain.
Everyone but Rimuru: "What!?" they all shout, even the half conscious Gabiru.
Milim: "Hold on... that means I have a cousin!!" she screams while tackling me but I manage to stay on my feet.
Vendela: "It's nice to finally meet you cousin," I say while holding her closer.
After our heartfelt moment we introduced Milim to everyone while she declaimed her and Rimuru besties and she even let everyone know were cousins. Let me tell you that everyone was screaming even louder then they did in the original.
Vendela: 'I want all my dryads patrolling the forest to be on alert and to let me know if anyone leaves or enters the forest, I feel like we will have uninvited guessed soon,' I think to them.
Dryads: 'Yes mistress,' they think back.
