I wake up in the morning, go through my usual routine, and have breakfast. After finishing my breakfast, I change into a fabulous outfit consisting of a funky-colored shirt, stylish leggings, a matching belt, and some cool flats. Feeling inspired, I decide to sketch a random picture, only to discover that I unintentionally drew Garnet and myself leaning next to each other. Naturally, I blush like a tomato.
In an attempt to calm my racing thoughts, I decide to meditate. I find my meditation mat and begin to clear my mind. As I think about sad things, I start to feel cold. When I shift my focus to anger-inducing thoughts, I feel a sudden wave of heat. But then, when I think about happy things, I notice a glow emanating from my gem. Excitedly, I open my eyes while maintaining a state of happiness and serenity. I place my hand over my gem and summon my weapon, which turns out to be something awesome, like a wickedly cool sword. I think to myself, "Oh, this is so cool! I gotta show the gems!"
Fast forward to the scene at the temple. I swing open the door and greet everyone with a chipper "hey guys." Garnet responds with a friendly "howdy, y/n," and the rest of the gems chime in with their hellos. Just as we're settling in, Steven comes bouncing down the stairs, exclaiming a cheerful "hi, y/n!!!" Feeling eager to show off my newfound power, I announce that I have something to share but that we'll need a spacious area. Pearl suggests the sky arena as a suitable location, to which I agree. Trusting my judgment, Pearl shrugs and says, "Alright, I trust you, y/n." We all head to the warp pad, and after a brief moment of warping, we arrive at the arena.
As we float in mid-air for a moment, Steven accidentally nosedives while I gracefully touch down on my feet. I confidently stride to the center of the arena, take a deep breath, and focus on positive thoughts. To everyone's astonishment, my gem begins to glow, and I summon my weapon - a badass creation that leaves the gems speechless. They all collectively freak out, shouting "what?!" in disbelief.
Confused by their reaction, I ask innocently, "What's wrong?" Pearl explains that my weapon is incredibly powerful and that only a diamond, a god, or a goddess could create something like that. I scratch my chin, pondering the revelation, and respond, "Huh, well, my dad did mention that my mom, not Sapphire but my other mom, was a rare gem even rarer than a diamond. She was like the ultimate gem creator, a rock goddess. There were a few goddesses and gods in the mix, but anyways... So, when she and Sapphire fused to create me, I guess I inherited their gem." Taking a deep breath, I look down at my feet, feeling a mix of emotions.
Suddenly, Garnet walks over and places a comforting hand on my shoulder. This only makes me blush even more intensely. She assures me that she knows I'm scared and that I fear being judged based on my mom's actions. But she reminds me that I am my own person, separate from my mom, and that the gems are here to support and help me. Grateful for her kind words, I blush even brighter and stammer, "Thank you, Garnet."
Realizing it's bedtime, I decide to warp back home. I go through my nightly routine and eventually slip into bed, ready to call it a day.
