I smiled softly as I got into my car. Today was my first day of teaching! I was so excited to meet new students and new staff! I pulled out of my driveway and started to drive

Once I walked in the classroom I looked at all the students. One student came up to me and stared to introduce himself. "Hi! I'm Kai! Your the new teacher right?" He asked while looking at me. I smiled softly and explained to him that I was indeed the new teacher and asked him to go to his seat. He walked up to his seat while smiling at a blue eyed person. I shrugged it off and stood up and walked over to the white board. "Hello students! I will be your new Science teacher!" I said with my eyes lighting up. "What's your name!" Some student asked with sliverish gold eyes. I didn't feel very comfortable saying my last name. Ever since he left I never changed it. "Mr.loverman will do!" I said while pulling out some work for the class to do. "Mr.loverman!? What kind of name is that" shouted a random student I didn't know. Some of the class started laughing and whispering things to their friends. "Mr.loverman do you even have a lover!?" A student asked while laughing. "N-no...I don't" I said while tear drops hit the paper Infront of me. "Why don't you guys Introduce your self!" I said while wiping my face. Some student stood up and blushes a light shade of pink. "My name is Grayson! T-they/them pronouns please.." They said while sitting back down. "Your a girl! You can't change that!" Some kid yelled while smirking. "Fuck off! THEY can be who ever they want to be!" Kai said grabbing Graysons hand. "Class settle down! Kai watch your mouth please" I said while sighing. This year is going to be hell
